No one was covering second, and the throw went to the bag. I've never seen that in a MLB game. Complete defensive breakdown. We've blown a 4-run lead and are making tons of mental mistakes. Lucky to get out of that inning and Molitor better give these guys an earful.

Well, the NBA and NHL playoffs are going on, the NFL draft starts tomorrow, the Kentucky Derby is Saturday along with Pacquiao-Mayweather, so they're probably not pretending to care/know anything about baseball right now.  Wait until the end of June, and they'll all be back.

Chief is strong on the "Corner OF defense is secondary" side, though I won't attempt to speak farther than that for him.
