Clinton's newest scandal

So, first, I don't think it's quite as big as republicans think but it really does bother me that Clinton used a personal server while sec of state.  Her arguments for why is was OIK was taken apart pretty well by Dan Metcalfe a couple weeks ago and today CNN is reporting that the emails were permanently deleted.  So much for transparency in government.

I won't vote for any of the GOP candidates but I also will not vote for Hilary.  So I really hope the Dems can find someone else to challenge her.

The Secretary of State, perhaps the second most important position in our government, was secretly housing an email address she was actively using on private servers on her private property to handle sensitive state business....and it's not a big deal?

That's the kind of stuff Frank Underwood pulls while disposing of an inconvenient reporter.  It's super shady, especially when a bunch of the emails magically disappear.  This wouldn't be a big deal if it wasn't for everything she's doing now that makes it look as shady as it seems.

I said she should catch flak for it. I guess I just expect politicians to do this kind of crap so when the news on this broke, I just shrugged and said "yeah, so that happened".

It was an incredibly stupid move and I have bigger issues with the security implications than I do the secrecy of her email.

Yeah, if Dick Cheney had done this the left would be in a tizzy. She clearly and deliberately was circumventing the law.

This should be a big deal.

Yeah, if Dick Cheney had done this the right would have blown it off.

Both sides are a bunch of hypocrites.

As someone involved in the federal space, this is a huge no-no, and not something she could just say 'I didn't know'.  Lots of risks here, mainly security, as her personal server is probably not held to the same security standards found in the DoD.  Not to mention it's shady.

I do agree that if this had been Cheney, the left would have been in a tizzy and the right would have blown it off.  That sums up my problem with politics in general.

That's what is called "Crony Capitalism."

Spoiler alerts, please! I'm still working through the first season of Lost.

Hmm, everyone knows that here is something both parties agree on: HC must not run because to the Democrats she doesn't have a good enough chance and to the Republicans she's a threat to the American people.

I'm not going to disagree with either.

But I want to add that the Democrats will be wise to snub her from now on. Otherwise the elections will be too predictable, kind of like the 2013 World Series. And nobody wants to be bored that time of year. They won't have any excuses for their bad behavior.

Which leads to my philosophical hypotheses: There is no such thing as hyperactivity. It's just boredom.
