At what point are you guys actually going to get rid of auto sound/play banner ads?

Dave, ChiTown, just take the ads like men and kwitcher complainin'.

I don't mind the ads ... but they shouldn't be singing, talking, shouting, making noise. And I'm pretty sure it's not the type of ads the site wants. Further, this is the proper forum to bring up any issues regarding the site, whether it be a complaint, an issue, a suggestion, a kudos, a whatever.

Auto play video/sound ads have been out of control the past few days, also this site is now again buggy and slowing up my computer with "do you wish to stop running this script" prompts.

Brock, I'm not trying to be a pain in the ass, but this is literally the only site I come to that has these issues. Can you please just go with a new ad network?

You currently have full page Macy's mobile pop up ads that appear on every mobile visit to Twins daily in between clicks. Annoying ads, can you at least see if they can limit it to 1/24 hours or 3/24 hours per user?

*nordstrom not Macy's

Have now seen it 8 times in last 15 minutes. Annoying to click out of as well...

Or just stop responding and trying to fix the problem Brock, there is super sweet autoplay ad going on right now.

You complain everytime someone brings up ad blocker, but apparently you refuse to actually try to fix this annoying problem, I am not exaggerating when I say that Twins Daily is literally the only site I visit that has these auto play, auto sound, ads.

FIX IT

They are back, and as bad as they have ever been. Very disruptive.

Yeah, got to admit it has affected the frequency with which I check the site. When I could just leave it in a tab, I'd check in to see what was new several times a day. But with the sound popping up in ads frequently, it means I close out that tab when I'm done reading a particlar article and I don't come back nearly as often.

Guess I could do the Chrome/adblock thing, but I would prefer not to.

(BTW, today's "offending" ad is Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center - in case that helps.)

Firefox seems to have a function where you can mute a tab without muting your whole computer. I use it at work. At home I use Chrome and it doesn't seem to have that functionality.

The auto-play ads are back and it's really killing the speed of the website. It's taking forever to load pages and type out responses as the auto-play video loads.

Auto play ads are back, I'm finally going to turn on ad blocker at this stage, I hate to do it but this site is slowing up/crashing my browser every few weeks it seems. You guys have had 3+ years to get this in order.

Feel free to PM once you fix the problem and I will remove ad blocker.

The auto-play, auto-sound ads have returned today for me. Wouldn't be that big of an issue if there was a way to mute the ad. Alas, I came here.
