Or the ability to push through the pain of the Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.

So would you let Jack know right away, or type with pain for a while until your queries keep spitting out Mike Pelfrey?

By that point I'd likely be on life support.

It's pretty hilarious how my experience aligns exactly with their requirements.

Hmm.

Hmmmm.

You'd fit right in with the front office Brock.

Standard requirement for all job postings. That, along with ability to lift 55 lbs.

So, like all at once, or 11 reps of 5 pounds? If it's all at once, might be time to see if that Snap Fitness door card leveling a kitchen table leg still works.

Thanks. it has been tough doing advanced analysis on an abacus and collecting scouting report info that has been filed on loose-leaf sheets of paper. The visual reporting is all done with pencil and paper sketches. Oh, and the fax machine will finally be retired.

Glad to see Jack in the house. Can we do a mid-season question and answer thread?

Fitting in isn't an issue. Our team is locked in a secret part of Target Field and given food and water only at lunch. We are allowed out in the "yard" one hour per day and not allowed to speak with the other Baseball Ops staff members.

Why does this have such an element of truth in it?

In all seriousness, I don't know Brock so he may or may not "fit in". But I guarantee your perception of our Baseball Ops staff isn't quite what you believe it to be.

"Ability to bribe a young intern into lifting 55 lbs."

'Intimidate' ok instead until 2nd year pay raise kicks in?

Pro-tip: don't make eye contact.

Isn't that what interns are for?

For sure if it's a rainout. But don't forget lawn care and auto detailing on nice days.

As a representative of your team, you've been a breath of fresh air, Jack. Hope all you techie-type guys have that sense of humor.

I'm sure it is nothing that I can imagine. That would be a cool pod-cast to take us behind the scenes and show us what it looks like. How about the mid-season thread?

Maybe not when drawing from the general public for applicants, but this is TD...

If you make a run at the OF wall, go for the left field corner in the morning. The sun in the guards' eyes will more than make up for the extra 11 feet.

Sounds good, but not gonna happen:

So I can answer more questions about why we non-tendered David Ortiz?

Oh, c',mon, give us a little more credit. If you were really looking for a Write Club bout over Ortiz, you'd find yourself a match much faster at http://www.startribune.com/sports/twins/.

The site mostly limits itself to second-guessing and obsessing over moves made in the past decade. Helps avoid alienating the occasional under-40 visitor with angry, obscure, 'get off my lawn, Ron Davis!' chatter.

First rule of Write Club. You do not talk about Write Club.

Some budding comedy writers on this site, wonderful. "Common Man" needs some competition.

You may be on to something, or....

Your accidental ban of Jack (on the assumption that it was an impersonator) remains one of the funniest things to happen in the history of the world.

So our applications are still in play?
