ashbury Verified Member Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 My mind is not as sharp as it used to be (and it was never really overly-sharp to begin with) - I forgot Valencia was now with the Royals. Is it still bitter to say, "hey, I forgot you were even still in the majors," when he gets an RBI late in a 10-2 game?
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted July 2, 2014 Author Posted July 2, 2014 Are those leaves painted on or did they blow in from the balcony? Heh ... a friend of mine actually suggested I use real leaves and decoupage them on. I might be interested in trying fun craft projects from time to time .... but no way was I going to decoupage real leaves onto my walls.
gil4 Verified Member Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 Center field, left field, first base... what position can this man not play? That sounds like a good start to the list...
ashbury Verified Member Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 Alright... Back from the Diamond... What I miss... Poo jokes.

ashbury Verified Member Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 That sounds like a good start to the list... Yes. We would also have accepted, "center field". Carol Merrill will present you with the Home Version of the game on your way out.
Bark's Lounge Verified Member Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 I thinks it's the Tapioca that is gonna present a problem.
snepp Verified Member Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 Thanks for the Mauer info. He has been playing better lately and it will be a shame if this is serious. Do we schedule TJ now, or later? /low hanging fruit
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 I can't remember the last time I decoupaged!!! Wait... Yes I do... Three weeks ago... I accidentally glued my forehead to a freshly painted table while getting a whiff of the paint. That counts... I'm a decoupager.

Am I the only one who had to Google the definition of "decoupage"? Nice job with the painting.
ashbury Verified Member Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 Damn... I love those. What's Brown and says Oh Bother? Winnie the Poo.
glunn Community Moderator Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 I can't remember the last time I decoupaged!!! I think that you need 3 people to do that.
gil4 Verified Member Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 I have to agree with Bark - tapioca is bad. It's definitely the 60-day day-to-day list.
ashbury Verified Member Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 Am I the only one who had to Google the definition of "decoupage"? Nice job with the painting. I did. There must be a dirty word that sounds like it.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 What's Brown and says Oh Bother? Winnie the Poo. "You have to give me time to guess". - Mitch Hedberg May he rest in peace
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 I think that you need 3 people to do that. I need 3 people for a lot of things.
ashbury Verified Member Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 Mitch Hedberg May he rest in peace He gave me some of the best laughs of my life, watching my kids enjoy him.
ashbury Verified Member Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 "You have to give me time to guess". OK. What's Blue and says Oh Bother?
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 He gave me some of the best laughs of my life, watching my kids enjoy him. I met him once... He could barely see three feet in front of his face... He was so wasted. I said Hello to him and he thought it was funny and laughed and laughed. So I started laughing because he was laughing and soon everyone was laughing until we were crying and all I said was Hello... Pleasure to meet you. Comic genius tho.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 OK. What's Blue and says Oh Bother? Winnie the Blue

gil4 Verified Member Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 Yes. We would also have accepted, "center field". Carol Merrill will present you with the Home Version of the game on your way out. Hey, I saw him play CF and he looked pretty good. As long as we continue to make deals with the opposition to only hit routine stuff his way when he's out there we should be OK.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 The BEST!!! Rice is great if you want to eat 2,000 of something. That is genius
LaBombo Verified Member Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 Am I the only one who had to Google the definition of "decoupage"? No. Other TD posters enjoy your privilege of not being constantly being stalked by death...
Bark's Lounge Verified Member Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 "You have to give me time to guess". - Mitch Hedberg May he rest in peace He graduated from the same high school I graduated from. He was about 8 years older than me, but my good friend's brothers went to school with him. He was funny then also and from our neighborhood. There is not so much pride I take from where I grew up, but Hedberg was about as funny as it gets from my perspective. What has it been - about 9 years since he has passed? I remember that being a sullen day. There are many great comedians, but I do not think any of them has bestowed upon me the laughter and greatness that was Mitch Hedberg.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 My wife is done destroying my kitchen, and now wants to walk the dog. Never forget that you are a lucky man, and to duck when it is appropriate...
Bark's Lounge Verified Member Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 Rice is great if you want to eat 2,000 of something. That is genius I wanna hang a map of the world in my house. Then I'm gonna put pins into all the locations that I've traveled to. But first, I'm gonna have to travel to the top two corners of the map, so it won't fall down.
