glunn Community Moderator Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 Any chance they keep Polanco up and send Florimon down when Plouffe comes off the DL? That would be awesome, but all the signs seem to point towards sending Polanco back.

Guest USAFChief Guests Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 Thanks for the correction.Anything to help. You seemed to have perhaps boxed yourself in there with some unreasonable parameters.
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 Any chance they keep Polanco up and send Florimon down when Plouffe comes off the DL? Won't they send both of them down since it sounds like both Plouffe and Nunez are coming back? Unless they send a pitcher down but I don't really see that.
glunn Community Moderator Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 Willingham catches a break on that popup -- now he needs to capitalize.

glunn Community Moderator Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 Nice defense by Arcia. Now let's turn that momentum into some offense. If Polanco can come to the plate this inning, the Twins should win.
Circus Boy Verified Member Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 Gonna take at least 3 runs to win this.
GCTF Verified Member Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 Typically a couple of hours after you take it out of the fridge. You're doing it wrong.
SouthDakotaFarmer Provisional Member Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 Put a DQ ice cream cake on the bag and Parms might steal 2nd base back in the bottom of the 5th.
diehardtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 You're doing it wrong. Well, you're supposed to drink it first.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 Does Gibson get another inning?
LaBombo Verified Member Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 Bit of an understatement about Arcia "struggling" against lefties. .430 OPS, vs.. .759 OPS against righties is more like 'flailing'. He needs to play every day for now, but if he can't figure out lefties over the next couple of years, one would hope that he either platoon or at least get plenty of days off against tough lefties.
glunn Community Moderator Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 Does Gibson get another inning? He has only 79 pitches.

Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 Put a DQ ice cream cake on the bag and Parms might steal 2nd base back in the bottom of the 5th. He's playing CF so... He can magically run now.
snepp Verified Member Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 He's playing CF so... He can magically run now. Does it make him toolsy by default?
snepp Verified Member Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 Let's go Gibby, fire up that DP machine. I are a smart man.
GCTF Verified Member Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 Let's go Gibby, fire up that DP machine. Just like Carlos Silva! without the poor eating habits.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 I Was just thinking a DP would be nice.
glunn Community Moderator Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 The main thing that's keeping me watching this game is the hope that Polanco can get another hit or help make another double play. I will be bitter when he is sent down.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 Does it make him toolsy by default? Well Duh... He just surpassed Hicks
GCTF Verified Member Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 Pick one 1. Gibson goes back out for the 8th2. Gibson does not go back out for the 8th3. I wish Pedro Hernandez was pitching for the Twins today.4. Rally Monkey
