"Blinded by the Light" reference in the booth triggers automatic PSA here at TD:

Most people don't recall that 'Blinded by the Light' was written and first performed by Springsteen.

If more people heard that version, the song would probably not have possibly the single most notorious misheard lyric in rock history...

Yup. The Boss could enunciate.

Even when he mumbled, he did it without whatever weird accent-y thing brit Chris Thompson was doing. Sounds more like a German trying not to reveal an accent. The English-translation version of 99 Luftballoons comes to mind.

Who is warming up to pitch the 9th for the Twins?

Thielbar. Nothing against him, but nothing good can come of watching the 9th...

Perhaps, but even less good would come of watching a 10th, so let's not do that.

Two predictions on Gibson before the game gets too far along: 1) He will set a career high in strikeouts. 2) He will yield at least one home run. These Astros swing from the heels!

So glad about the 1/2 of the prediction you almost got right (he tied for career high in strikeouts, I think).

So glad the other half didn't happen.

We'll I got home just in time to watch Hicks make a great catch to end it.

Sounds like Santana was incredible

Batting average up to .373, 5 RBI. No runs scored, but only because the heart of the order is saving up something for tomorrow.

Nice defense by Dozier as well. And Hicks also had a nice catch on a liner right at him similar to one that's tied him up before.

I think Aaron prefers it, for right now anyway, with the pressure switched closer to the "off" position.

And how did your team do?

Catching up at work!!! Saturdays are productive because there are very few distractions.

No bears on unicycles on Saturday.

Sounded like I missed a good one... Gibson at home... We may need a home/away platoon for Gibson.

Another way to be more efficient with baseball players? You may be on to something

Yeah, forget that every 5th day thing ... unless you have some control over the schedule makers.
