Circus Boy Verified Member Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 Catcher is the greatest position period. You call the pitches... You call the cuts... You see the whole field... You work the umps and you get to wear armor. I caught, too. Especially after getting a tutorial from Bill Freehan shortly after moving to Flint, Mich. when I was 11. Being the murder capital and all, the city's motto was "Where every day is a near-death experience."
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 Und sauerkraut, ich hoffe? I had lunch with a co-worker at a sandwich place downtown a few years ago. I swear to god... He ordered a Rueben and said "but without the sauerkraut" I thought that was funny so I couldn't help it... I had to order a corned beef sandwich and I asked the waitress to add Swiss cheese and some of that Russian dressing. The waitress and I started laughing and my co-worker didn't get it. Half way thru the meal... He says... "Wow... Kinda looks like we got the same sandwich".

Free country, but there's a reason why the most famous carnivorous talking plant in movie history was a mutated Brussels sprout...http://www.audienceseverywhere.net/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/5227090_orig.jpg

LaBombo Verified Member Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 What? Victorino stopped switch hitting after age 30 and the earth didn't crash into the sun? Has this been confirmed? The former part, I mean.
Gibby Provisional Member Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 Wife's are wild cards. My wife is at my youngest's choir concert, doing a slow burn I'm sure.

LaBombo Verified Member Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 Yeah, we're all a bit upset about the Ortiz HR.It's almost like he did it on purpose or something, just to rub salt in the wound. And I'm trying to cut back on sodium...
Gibby Provisional Member Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 Yeah, we're all a bit upset about the Ortiz HR. Twins wont do a damn thing until the 7th. No need to fret about what the Sox do up to that point.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 Are the people who make Rye Bread the same folks who mow the grass at MLB Parks?
