jokin Old-Timey Member Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 This little opposite field loop to right field that he has found has completely changed his value, IMHO. He could suddenly be a .270 hitter instead of a .230 hitter and not completely worthless against right-handers. A guy with his profile who hits .270 is Michael Cuddyer at third base. He's also hit 3 to the RF wall and Trevor is Brooks Robinson at 3rd compared to Cuddy.
jokin Old-Timey Member Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 I never thought I'd detest a Twins middle infielder more than Punto, but Florimon now takes it. Punto's 'heart' and defense were also over-rated, but at least he could make the all the routine plays. At this point, Petey is little more than "Dead Man Walking"....
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted April 12, 2014 Author Posted April 12, 2014 Escobar is making progress... He struggled with diveSolved that and then struggled with the throw. when he gets the throw thing figured out... We are in trouble.

GSM Provisional Member Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 Their shortstop sucks. He's a top 3 defensive SS in the AL.

cmathewson Provisional Member Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 He's a top 3 defensive SS in the AL. Just ahead of Florimon. But it was a joke.

If you're going to do quotes, you have to get a bit creative. Quoting quotes from movies everyone has seen and everyone knows isn't original. C'mon man. (I'm a bit of a movie buff and a quote snob)
