This little opposite field loop to right field that he has found has completely changed his value, IMHO. He could suddenly be a .270 hitter instead of a .230 hitter and not completely worthless against right-handers. A guy with his profile who hits .270 is Michael Cuddyer at third base.

 

He's also hit 3 to the RF wall and Trevor is Brooks Robinson at 3rd compared to Cuddy.

I never thought I'd detest a Twins middle infielder more than Punto, but Florimon now takes it. Punto's 'heart' and defense were also over-rated, but at least he could make the all the routine plays.

 

At this point, Petey is little more than "Dead Man Walking"....

A couple of quote candidates: "What we have is a fail-yah to communicate" and "the truth! You can't handle the truth!"

 

If you're going to do quotes, you have to get a bit creative. Quoting quotes from movies everyone has seen and everyone knows isn't original. C'mon man.

 

(I'm a bit of a movie buff and a quote snob) ;)
