E Rod worries me... lots of walks and SO... can he consistently make hard contact on pitches in the zone?
  2. D.C Twins
A Minnesota team that plays poorly in cold weather?!
  3. D.C Twins
Validation! I told ya'll for a month that Paddack.... (checks notes... something about going to the bullpen).... um nevermind!
  4. D.C Twins
Tonkin should not be on our 40 man.
  5. D.C Twins
Yes... i'm sure that he will get another job, but will it be a GM/president? There is more to being a GM than developing a pitching pipeline. I agree that he has made some promising strides there. I suspect he will get another job that focuses more specifically on that skill set (ie not a GM or president)

Let's be clear... there are no scapegoats. There is not a single person from the manager up that cannot be replaced by someone more talented at the position. Nobody deserves to keep their job

“Despite our struggles right now, I still have a ton of belief in the group that’s in that room.” 🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭
  8. D.C Twins
Keep Ober and Ryan.... trade Lopez and any other veteran in the fire sale. Then let the kids play a la 1982-1885
  9. D.C Twins
Raya to bullpen already and adjust his pitch focus accordingly. Where in the world is Jenkins.... can TD get a proof of life at least?
  10. D.C Twins
The FO needs to approach Buxton about waiving no-trade for a select group of teams and then quietly start the process.
  11. D.C Twins
    TK was him
  12. D.C Twins
Only 3 runs on 13 hits?! My expert opinion: Uffff Daaaahhhh
  13. D.C Twins
Please tell me we are not obligated to eventually bring Tonkin up to prove that he will be destroyed in th MLB..... Can we not use history and current performance to bypass that exercise?
  14. D.C Twins
    usually not a great sign......
  15. D.C Twins
I thought this was a thoughtful article and an enjoyable read.
  16. D.C Twins
OK....now THAT win means something. Buck+Correa+Ober allowed 100 pitches to keep bullpen fresh!!! A Chef's kiss indeed.
  17. D.C Twins
As the resident poster giving the most crap to Correa..... let me just also say that if he and Buck ever get back to consistent ALL-Star level play at the same time.... this team could compete. I don't know if the is the beginning of a Correa breakout but I sure hope so. Is it possible that he is just a terrible hitter in cold weather?
  18. D.C Twins
Hopefully this 'momentum' translates to real competition. The Angles have wasted a generational talent in Trout

  20. D.C Twins
Tonkin is just not a good MLB pitcher rehab or no rehab
  21. D.C Twins
Tonkin doing Tonkin things... someone please explain to me why he was earmarked to be on the MLB team this season
  22. D.C Twins
Well written but of course depressing.... The 5 stolen bases in 7 games was the most exciting to me... that kind of stuff can fire up a team and disrupt pitchers rhythm etc.... all of the intangibles. I didn't see the game.... were they just pounding the ball inside on him to move him off the plate?
  23. D.C Twins
IDK... do you think the Yankees or Braves actually want Correa period, much less on that contract?
  24. D.C Twins
    Rocco's post-game interviews:
  25. D.C Twins
Good Lord.... That Correa contract is gonna be the craptacular gift that keeps on giving and giving and giving. What. An. Unadulterated. Mess.
