    I'm surprised at the quick adaptation of 'Sano is back'. I understand his power a huge commodity. I like his glove at 1B. But 5 HR's in 7 games does not absolve him from the damage he has done to this lineup. He's well below the Mendoza line, Almost half his hits are HR's and yet only has 16 RBII's (coming off a grand slam last night) I don't understand Sabermetrics, but I understand from 35 years years of watching baseball that being a rally killer, and so strikeout prone is bad for the team. I've harshed on him in the past and have applauded him at times, but I think it's time to cut ties with him now while he's 'hot' I no longer fear an Ortiz backlash. Get something for him while his name is in the news cycle. Anybody that archives posts, I will gladly take my lumps. Thanks for the time

    Thanks for pointing that out. I don't have time to do Baseball Savant or Fangraph dives (I don't know what I'm looking at vs. what it means) I don't know. I only know what I see, and our hitters have looked awful since game 8 (No offense Arraez and Austudillo I respect your game)

    I like OP's thought process and 70% behind the ideas. I would just like to say one more time...Falvey. Levine, Baldelli and Johnson were not smoke and mirrors past 2 years. Yes, we were hoping a budget bullpen would be good enough counting on better defense and solid offense to win more games than not. Obviously that did not happen. I just don't like knee jerk reactions to situations we as fans are not privy to. Off my soapbox

    What sucks is, you get so pumped for baseball after a long winter, Summer is coming, it's sunny, and you're baseball team is out of it before Memorial Day.. I"ll root. I'll watch, but it's disheartening.

    The only player I have bagged on this year has been Sano (both games he hit a homer) They have to tell him not to swing at anything low and outside. Make him look at 500 pitches from a machine hitting in that vicinity and say 'NO' after each one. He's too late on fastballs and can do nothing with breaking balls in that area. I'm done with him. m

    Man, what am I doing watching this? I have twenty things I should get done by Monday, and yet I'm going to watch this slow death march and dive into tomorrows game. Apparently I'm a sadist or a masochist minus anything sexual. Why add pleasure to pain for the next 3 hours?
