    "the Twins will take at least four of five from Detroit this weekend" Hope so, but we're again having injuries and just bad mojo. We should and need to take 4 of 5 but that double header is going to subtract one win either tomorrow or Sunday due to bullpen being diluted. We always seem to make no-name pitchers shine. Although we seem to have our way with the elites. Baseball justice

    You know what. I can't say Blyleven was great at his job, but he was fine. Sure part of me is biased because it's something that you're used to it. Every broadcast booth has weaknesses. The Twins have been awesome shuffling in Morneau, Hunter, et al. (Would love to get Nathan in there). I hate the White Sox, but Steve Stone and Jason Benneti are great.

    This is sports. Not politics. My boss wouldn't let me sit out of my $30/hr job because I needed to protest/represent something I felt. Make your statement on your dumb social media platforms and get on the field and play for the reason you get paid what you do. Fans who want to watch on tv or in person in the future. Never giving another dime to mlb

    Some unwritten rules are rules. No. You do not bunt in the 9th inning of a no-hitter if your team is trailing by more than a run. No. You do not let yourself get hit by a pitch in the 9th with a perfect game on the line. Arbitrary? Maybe. Good Sportsmanship? Yes. I'm sure Charlie Hustle would beg to differ. Over/Under of Twins SP throwing 7 innings this year? I'm going under no matter the spread. Go Twins

    I had no feelings for Romo before he came here, and I love him. I had feelings about AJ and loved him as a Twin, but not so much before or after. Funny how fandom can cloud your lens. Appreciate what you do for site Tom.

    We should be aiming for more than a split vs. a bad team. That's all I'm saying. If we split tomorrow, we will 2-5 against the worst team in the AL. Not a good sign. And it's not like were losing 10-8 freaky weird games. Not trying to argue. Just making a point

    Any stats on how often 2 teams have played to the same score in 3 consecutive games? Seems fairly unusual. Sure it's happened hundreds of times, I can't believe author is hoping for a split vs Royals at home. No offense, but if were hoping to split vs a crap team we have no reason to go to the post season.

    Not going to be knee-jerky, but my confidence in Berrios being a 2 starter is out the door. I'm not doing the dive, but how often does it feel the offense picks him up and he gives it right back. Frustrating series, but S happens even in a 60 game schedule. On to Milwaukee

    To Pro-Rate Sano's stats from last season, he would probably have hit 40 HR's over a full season (Woulda Coulda Shoulda I know) But what team has put a 40 HR hitter from previous season in 8 hole the next year? And yes, it's part lefty/righty, but still Go Twins

    Anything under 100 games is a sham. Anything under 100 games is a shame. This season is a wash and I blame it on the owners, the players, and the agents. As much as I hate to say it...Prep for 2021

    Correct me if I'm wrong in how I think about this. Up to his first concussion he was having a near MVP year. Whatever the bilateral leg weakness thing was must have been something (We joked about it at the time). He's won 3 batting championships which is 3 more than all of AL catchers in modern era Defensively.Piazza had as many Passed Balls in 2001 than Mauer had in 10 yerars of catching (Not trying to cherry pick stats, but that's impressive). He should have had a Gold Glove at 1B (I know, that's the Homer-ism shining through) Yes, the teams post season record was terrible, but at least they were in post-season. I don't think he'll be first ballot, but for sure in years 3 or 4.
