    Polanco and Kepler are worrying me. They're taking a lot of weak swings and guessing wrong seemingly every at-bat and end up watching hittable pitches go down the middle. If those guys can't both put up a consistent .750+ OPS, this lineup is not going to be top-10 in the league. That's the elephant in the room, especially since they were recently signed to new contracts (team friendly, but still money) Kepler looks lost and Polanco is unbalanced. Is that a carry-over from his ankle injury?

    Wow, huge game thread for April weekday day game. Jeffers and Garver are a huge hole. I thought we had the best 1-2 catcher combo in mlb? Also, not scoring after the 6th inning is a concern. We didn't do it last year and not much in 2019. Were great scoring a few runs in the first couple of innings...then not so much. BTW I don't care Sano hit a HR. He's batting under whatever the sub-Mendoza line is

    Nailed it. Everything can't be knee jerk. I've been around college teams traveling and have seen how much effort goes into that. MLB teams can't teleport to another site with hotels etc.

    Good news. We don't lose an extra inning game and have to complain about ghost runner on 2b. On a serious note Sano, Cave, Kepler is the black hole of Calcutta. We need to move one of them out of starting lineup. I'm not being reactionary a few games, they have too many flaws in their approach to plate

    Great article/analysis. I know this makes me seem like an old man, but 3 + outs shouldn't be the exception. Especially when you you may be facing the 5-9 hitters in lineup (Although The Twins lineup would give me pause) I just can't believe we live in a world with 14 pitcher staffs. Did love this line The reason for this was because the bullpen was made up of bubble gum, paper clips, and lost dreams. Also, Matt Magill

    I think Morneau's charm is his flat delivery and also, he does have humor, you just have to have to listen for it because he's so monotone. I personally love it. Some like chocolate, some like vanilla. Good job Justin (and Hawkins and Hunter and Smalley) Like I said in OP I listened to a lot of alternate games last year and really feel like the Twins are putting out a quality broadcast

    I thought he was was really good last year. Maybe I'm on an opening day high (Not high) but he is so good. Who would have thought he would be so good? He and Bremer are a great pair. Coming off last year which I listened to a lot of alternate broadcasts, The Twins are in top 5

    I hope Polanco rebounds. Don't want to fail on both Kepler and Polanco re-signings. I know we got them on team friendly deals, but this won't look good in a couple years. Kepler looks absolutely lost at the plate. I hope everything 'clicks' somehow April 1. I hated watching him bat last year and was glad it was only 60 games.

    "I'm worried about offense....I'm worried about defense....I'm worried about Starting Pitching....We don't have 4 lefties in the pen....Who's going to be our #3 Right Fielder.....SIGH...Aaron Rodgers once said something profound "R-E-L-A-X" I know it's our job to be concerned. I know it sucks Kriloff is hitting .100 but this team wasn't thrown together overnight and 4 plus years of FalVine makes me comfortable. Games count as much in April as September, but let's not freak (until May 1)

    Would be an optimistic swing for a Sotastick t-shirt or North American Sports Leader 18 and Counting.... Both would be iconic, only in the knowTwins Fan wink wink nudge nudge say no more. Not trying to be defeatist, ironic, or whatever. Just thought it was an interesting, fun spin. There's only a couple of handfuls of teams that are the leader in X of all 4 major North American sports. You're welcome Sotastick

    I don't need an ad (although I love the concept of the ad) to love Dobnak. No story line in 2019 was more compelling than minor leaguer setting wedding date well beyond his end of season and yet... Get's through 4 levels of competition and is pitching a post-season game in the majors. Hollywood can't write that. I hope he has a nice 5 year run with the Twins and has an imprint on a couple of big games (in a good way) Austudilllo was fun, Dobnak is a player. Wish both the best.
