I'm just saying what I pay for MLB.tv single team view. I may be off on the number, but not much. I've realized between work and life I don't have time to watch a random Padres/Reds game (Espcecially when I can't watch the game I want to)

I don't care about Apple TV production values. I care about coming home on a Friday to watch my team play a baseball game. I live in Illinois and pay $124 just to watch Twins. For every game I can't watch take a percentage off my bill (I can't watch Chicago games) Which is no boo hoo compared to Iowa MLB fans. Just dumb and unfair

Thus is why I asked and got the responses I expected: 10 days. Whole season. So Twins

Due to work I've been limited watching/reading Twins stuff. What's the news on Buxtons knee? Sorry if there's been a post on this and I didn't see it. Thanks guys

I don't argue with the lineup. It's the best we have. I'm just stating (6 games in) that we still lack the urgency that we displayed last year. Our runners stranded is bad. I'm not here to argue, just wanted to express my EARLY concerns for our team

Man, we cannot score with RISP. Kepler looks to be inept. Julien is taking too many looking strikes, and boy howdy things are not going good on the offense. On the other hand, pitching is looking great. I know it's early, but jeepers creepers we should be knocking a team like Cleveland around. Yes, I know it's early, but these are not the games I want to be pulling my hair out in September

Thanks for clarifying, maybe I didn't catch that point you had made. Anyways, great article

Great article, but I'm confused. Are their bats used by mlb players in mlb games?

MLB has taken my money. I can watch games, but only away games. FWIW I live in Illinois f t t

So I've bought for last 10 plus years and was interested in why I can't see a home announce game this pre-season. I wanted to watch the game today and its not there. Is there something wrong with my subscription? What am i missing?

That projected batting order looks pretty pretty good

Yay! We only struck out 11 times today! I'm going to sound dumb to those who have some sort of formula of Power/K(BB+Groundball) xl aunch angle-blah blah blah. We haven't faced great pitching the last few games and can barely hit at home. I'm done listening to the apologists of 'it takes striking out to score runs' Put the ball in play. Put pressure on the defense. Today against a marginal team we did not do that. 11 times we let their defense not have a chance to make a mistake. Combine that with our pathetic bases loaded avg. and I think I've got this team figured out. Can't believe I'm frustrated after a win. Good Day.

I'm posting in 7th inning fyi Padres uniforms are awesome. Mustard on brown looks great and at this point, classic Farmer getting hbp after coming back from hit in mouth is pretty impressive Buxton and Kepler's numbers aren't far off... disturbing

Twins sweep if bats wake up

This may be a dumb analogy/story. I was at a Tigers game @2015 (I may be wrong on year, but not spending time to figure out) Memorial Day weekend and got to Detroit with only shirts and t shirts. temp at game time was in low 40s. Freezing and Twins losing badly we only stayed because Annibel Sanchez had a no-hitter going. Top of 9 one out Mauer comes up. I'm wearing my 'Mauer to the people' shirt (thanks to whomever made that) I"m cheering for a no-hitter because I'll never see one in person probably again. Sanchez throws a strike and I can't believe he's pitching to Mauer. I announce this to the Tiger fans around me. "Don't do this" 2 pitches later Mauer does prototypical in/out swing and deposits ball in shallow left field for a single. Long story short, Mauer was a bad, bad man. Sorry for meandering story, but that moment stuck with me.

don't know if the author of this piece was doing voice to text, but a lot of this was...confusing to read. Not meaning to offend, but let's see some more effort. I shouldn't read a recap and come away confused. Maybe I'm dumb.

Pagan, be gone (Hawk Harrelson voice) Dude does not have it.

BA may not be the end all be all, but putting a ball in play makes the defense have to react and we have benefitted from bad opponent defense. Striking out does no good. I agree with OP that baseball with contact is more fun to watch

Wednesday's game was broadcast by Youtube. It was my first time seeing this. I really liked it. I thought the between half inning nat sound/cutting to shots of the dugouts was cool. Pena was o.k. and assume will get better. Graphics were nice. I was impressed. What think you guys and gals?

What sucks is if the is 2021 redux. Out of contention by mid-May. If that's the case bring up the youths. Gotta shake something up, because 2 years of this signifies a problem. That starting pitching is not going to last.

Yes, games count as much in April as September. This Twins team looks good to me. I believe the hitting will come soon, the SP looks good, relief...We'll figure it out. Just don't dig a big hole like last year
  24. denarded
Interesting take, and I agree. I'm not worried about the lineup. More interested in SP and RP

I'm happy for Sano dropping 25 lbs. I'm not happy watching his swings. Jeepers creepers. Time to move on. And before anybody jumps on me, I know its ST, but I don't think the season beginning is going to get Sano going. Let's open up a spot on the roster.
