  1. Larnach and Kirillof not a lot of...energy when talking to media. Maybe it's good they save it for the field
  2. Josh Donaldson...D.O.A. Glad we made the signing, but boy howdy this has been terrible. Next 2 years.....Yeesh
  3. I know we have bigger fish to fry, but Simmons bunt attempt was awful. Broadcast crew applauded his effort....not this guy. I knew in HS not to bunt without pushing ball down. I recognize I was not facing 90mph FB, but you get paid millions. End of rant
  4. Let's do this and keep some hope alive for tomorrow
  5. Ugggh. This is not the article I wanted to read. My quick 2 cents...Love Donaldson's arm. I never hold my breath on a throw that might be tight, but he's made a couple throws that were 'easy' that cost the team. He was meh overall last year for his value and so far has been meh this year. I know he has a negative xBA, but he just doesn't seem to make consistent solid contact (new band name). I hope he comes through and this is the year we're paying him for. The next two may be sunken cost if the current performance continues. Come on Josh, let's not make this a sucky contract
  6. Is he on the Mets?
  7. I think the biggest problem (bullpen aside for a second) is the offense in two parts. We score early and seem to go stagnant the last 4 or 5 innings. I know there are instances like the 8th inning on Tuesday, but to my eyes that how it seems to go game after game. Part of the problem is the horrendous RISP. I'd hate to see how many lead-off doubles have returned to the dugout from said base. I'm not going to dive into numbers. This is eye test only, but that's what a fan does.
  8. I assume you've seen this since post, but Buxton had a set back. He can't decelerate. As you said, if it's not one thing it's another
  9. Refsnyder is garbage. Put a fork in him....
  10. I'm from the future so I know we score. But that's spot on. This pitcher is meh and as another poster noted we have a habit of making scrubs look great
  11. That's what i was asking. My feed froze and Austudillo was on first with no run scored
  12. Exactly what I was thinking last night during the game.
  13. You're right, Sorry for being hyperbolic. Althought I did think he was closer to 30 than 25. The curse of coming up young I guess
  14. Noticed that last night, and yes. I assume Twins are charging them a ton for the space
  15. That's the loudest booing I've heard at Target Field
  16. Does it not seem that Sano gets 'under' most pitches, or am I overreacting to how much I don't like his approach. I don't care if he pushes most counts full. He also spends a lot of time in 0-2, 1-2 counts. I know his advanced stats look good, I just don't see it. Do like his D at 1b
  17. GleemanGeek summed Berrios up perfectly on Sunday. Berrios is no better now than when he was 23 and he's about to hit 30. As fans, we have expectations, but sometimes you have to give up the ghost
  18. Larnach looks competent with his approach says fat dude sitting on couch
  19. Not our Division. Not our problem, but yeah year after year sneaky good and always questioned pre-season
  20. Somebody mentioned this earlier. Shoemaker, let's not put every lead off hitter on. Sheesh
