  1. I do not not think that word means what you think it means (especially when applied to 2021 Twins)
  2. Who saw this coming? I remember GleemanGeek giggling over how easy it was to pick Twins to finish Wins over ( I think it was 89) Dear God, were not going to make 69 (Not a pun)
  3. Sano is toast. I'm not going to let a potential 10 game hot streak temper that thought. Big game for Twins to show some fortitude. Big game hopefully from Big Mike
  4. That article was pointless. Not your fault, but your fault for me spending 5 minutes reading it. Bigger fool me
  5. I know that, but I don't care. Let Austudillo play first until he's back. Sano is so useless it's beyond words. I guess he's good scooping balls at first I don't think I've ever been angrier at watching a player up to bat
  6. Dump Sano tomorrow. Let Kiiriloff take over his best defensive position. Don't let the ghost of David Ortiz cloud your judgement Twins management
  7. We've only left 12 men on base We're winning that stat category. Yay!
  8. Everybody moans about the bullpen and now we have a starter going to finish the 6th inning and now that's bad? Can't have it both ways. Berrios has given up 2 runs and a good baseball team should score 4. Get back to me when the pen blows this game. Not trying to harsh on you, but let's not waffle on how the pen is used
  9. This sounds counterintuative, and I'm a dude drinking beer on my couch, but I think think Sano needs to back up laterally in the batter box about an inch away from plate from where he currnetly stands. I think how close he stands on top of plate makes him eyeball those low outside breaking balls look like a good idea to swing. Something needs to get figured out. I'm done with all the excuses. Striking out half the time is not sustainable. Especially when the ball is put in play with strong contact rarely when you do make contact
  10. I feel for you. It's ridiculous to pony up $100 mainly to watch one team and get blacked out. Side note on post I made earlier this season, If you live in Iowa you're blacked out of 6 teams from the word go. Sure that doesn't make you feel better
  11. Kepler looks awful. Losing to Gibson is going to make me throw up in my mouth. Sorry for being descriptive.
  12. Sano has no trade value right now. I don't understand how Twins Nation knows he is bad right now, yet think he has value. Hitting a couple of more HRs and striking out 30 more times is not going to help
  13. I don't know what calll you're talking about. Unless it's the one that helped get us a recored of something
  14. I live in Illinois and make it up once a year to watch a weekend and love going to Cuzzy's. Their breakfast has saved me from the damage I do postgame at the C/W bar that I think has now closed. Met Hrbek there and asked bartender if it was ok to talk to him. He said yeah and I went to talk 91 WS with him. To the disgust of his wife and and daughter. Anywhooo....Phil Cuzzy Sucks
  15. Right on. Thanks Matt, but you are what you are. Balzovic and Duran coming up? Yes please
  16. From MLB.com Regarding Playoff chances. I've watched all but one game this year and had no idea we've already played 5 extra inning games. I need to start monitoring beer intake I guess. Biggest fallers Twins: -31.9 (63.3% to 31.4%) Minnesota’s season hasn’t been without its positives. The Byron Buxton breakout is upon us, Nelson Cruz continues to defy Father Time and José Berríos, Michael Pineda and J.A. Happ have been solid. Overall, though, the Twins have put themselves in a tough spot with their 9-15 start. Kenta Maeda (6.56 ERA) is the biggest concern for Minnesota, followed closely by its bullpen, which has the fifth-worst ERA (4.59) in the Majors and has contributed to the team's 2-6 record in one-run games and 0-5 mark in extra innings.
  17. I love when a comment makes me laugh and cry...
  18. He'll hit a couple of rocky points where he doesn't see the ball well. Dr. Gast is right on and an encouraging sign for sustained success is his Hard Hit% and Chase rate Also he's pretty fast I hear...
  19. You can't have everything. Part of what makes him a great manager may make him less so if he was more 'fiery'. I agree with all points, just wanted to mention this. It's the same thing with players " I love his game, just wish he was faster or more selective or more aggressive at the plate. Etc.
  20. Picked the wrong day to call out Garver....Hopefully it's the beginning of something and I'll gladly look foolish. BTW, Buxton is fast
  21. It's a rough telecast, but they probably never work together, it seems like the 3 of them are all at seperate locations, and I don't know if Thome has done this before. I may be wrong on all points
  22. At least Sano at least sees 5 or 6 pitches most AB's
