    Listened to Gleeman&Geek podcast. They agreed on Maeda, Berrios & Pineda as the 1st round rotation I'm fine with that. My question is who (knock on wood) is the starter for Game 1 of whatever the second round is called? I say Oddo if healthy, Hill scares me. Dobnak possibly having to revisit Yankee Stadium doesn't sit well with me either. Or does it matter if we win The Central and get the 1-3 seed or we fail and are 7 or 8 seed? Sorry for The Nervous Nelly post, but I was just just thinking (before drinking)

    We better march out our A lineup next inning to win this this game. No time to lose games to crap teams. We have the next 2 days off

    This lineup for game 2 makes no sense. We have 2 days off coming up. We have 2 of the last 5 days of the season off. Sweeping a double header is hard. We run out a get-away lineup is dumb. You all can talk about that seedings don't matter in the playoffs, but I beg to differ. I realize were winning, but this is not what I would do. Also, I wasn't AL Manager of the Year in 2019

    Sano has now struck out 9 times in 14 at bats and and grounded into 2 double plays vs Detroit this year not good

    Damned if you do. Damned if you don't. We'll never know. Wish we had scored a run in the last 4 innings so Baldelli didn't have to make that decision

    I'm going to miss Blyleven, but More Morneau is a good thing. Has Tori been in the booth this year? I wouldn't mind a T.K. game. I find them odd, but informative

    Wouldn't want to play them this year in a 3 game series. Strong starting pitching and a mashing lineup. Yes, they are historically bad at fielding. But I hate to have my season ended by that team (would the Yankees hurt more or expected?) Sigh.

    "the Twins will take at least four of five from Detroit this weekend" Hope so, but we're again having injuries and just bad mojo. We should and need to take 4 of 5 but that double header is going to subtract one win either tomorrow or Sunday due to bullpen being diluted. We always seem to make no-name pitchers shine. Although we seem to have our way with the elites. Baseball justice

    I only watch a few non-Twins games a week, but combining that small sample size with Twins games...Strike Zone Umpiring is horrible. I've been done with home plate umpires since 2014 when i saw first hand how strike zone could be managed. I realize strike zone cuts both ways, but it shouldn't happen either way. Just do it.

    Seriously, why is Buxton not playing tonight? Just for moral purposes play him. I have a weird feeling we won't see him again this year

    You know what. I can't say Blyleven was great at his job, but he was fine. Sure part of me is biased because it's something that you're used to it. Every broadcast booth has weaknesses. The Twins have been awesome shuffling in Morneau, Hunter, et al. (Would love to get Nathan in there). I hate the White Sox, but Steve Stone and Jason Benneti are great.

    Was on Chicago Sports talk radio this morning and was asked what surprised him about The Twins. He said he's never seen them make so many errors and mental mistakes. His second take was "Why does anybody pitch to Nelson Cruz?" Ozzie is great

    Done with kid gloves for the IL. They only have to play 60 games. They only have 28 games left. Get whatever can help you in the lineup now. Sure, we might make the playoffs, but I don't want to be on the low seed of that. Were better than this (or should be)

    I said on a thread Friday the double double headers were going to cripple the pitching staff and how it was not going to be a good thing having to face WS next. This is going worse than I thought. Somebody needs to wake this team up

    We're already lined up for a bullpen game on Saturday. If Dobnak only goes 4 there is cause for panic for the series. We already blew 3 games against a crap KC team. If the Tigers beat Twins game 1 they are going to be favored in at least one of the three remaining. Why 2x2 is different than 4x4 is because we could burn through 8 relievers in day 1 and only have a couple effective relievers left for day 2

    Back to back double headers really suck. Odds are we leave town with a split instead of an optimistic sweep. It's really going to screw our pitching staff against the upcoming white hot White Sox series. Bad Moon Arising

    This is sports. Not politics. My boss wouldn't let me sit out of my $30/hr job because I needed to protest/represent something I felt. Make your statement on your dumb social media platforms and get on the field and play for the reason you get paid what you do. Fans who want to watch on tv or in person in the future. Never giving another dime to mlb

    Interesting. I know they're commenting on it coming out of break, but you could hear the Indians dugout yelling .....Romo. Trying to get under his skin. good for him. Although he was dealing with the very bottom of the order
