    I said this in a previous game thread and I rarely post. I'm done with Gibson. The Nibbler should be used as a set up man or , well i guess there's nothing else we can do with him

    NOT TO GET REACTIONARY but i've been done with Gibson since last year. I hate watching him pitch and am done with it. Good lord, there has to be something better. So glad he's not signed for next year

    Not to pile on Gibson, but this is so typical. Team gives him lead, he nibbles around and lets the opponent back in. I'm done watching him and I loathe watching his starts. Don't know the answer, but Gibson is not it. BTW Morneau keeps getting beter and better in the booth. Never thought that would be a thing for him.

    This is not a knee jerk reaction. Perez needs to go to BP. We need to bring up a couple of young arms like Graterol or Alcala and get a sense for where they are and see what needs to be developed in the off season. I just don't believe we have what it takes with our entire pitching staff to get to October. Amd call me crazy, but even with the HR today, Stewart has looked good this year. Just not sure what role. Anyways, Go Twins

    Every time Buxton is not in a game and Kepler or Cave or whomever doesn't make a grab in CF and you say "Buxton would have caught that" Remember, his athleticism and speed comes with a price. You can't have it both ways. Risk/Reward. You can't take aggressiveness away from an alpha athlete. Get well soon Buck

    To summarize the past few weeks that led up to a frenzied couple of hours today, Derek Falvey and Thad Levine showed poised perfection in how they handled talent acquisition. The big league club got substantially better. The farm system did not get any worse. Sustained winning is still a probable outcome and the team from Twins Territory is as dangerous as it’s ever been. As I said in a post yesterday. I'd rather be competitive 7/10 years than a strong post season push once a decade. The post season is such a craphshoot but I like the idea of having an open window for the next 5+ years. Just my opinion

    I appreciate all the writers for what they do but this article is a cluster**** There is no deadline pressure. One example Byron Buxton got the scoring going in the top of the third when Byron Buxton hit a towering flyball over the fence in left-centerfield to give the Twins an early one to nothing lead. Take a breath and do some self-editing. There is no hard deadline for this stuff. And I do appreciate what you guys do, but I've been noticing a lot of awful errors and I am not a Strunk and White Nazi

    quick side note. I was at game today but running late and as I walked up to the park I heard loud applause and thought crap its already the bottom of the first ( White sox Batting) got in to stadium and it was Twins 2-0 There were that many Twins fans applauding Cruz' HR. Very cool. Sat next to a woman wearing a Bomba Squad Tshirt. On the flip side, there were some obnoxious Twins fans out after the game. I guess my point is I love the fandom at Comiskey ( or whatever it's called now) where there used to be few twins fans at games to a healthy portion on a Saturday but let's be cool and applaud ourselves for supporting the team

    I understand pitching around studs, but when you constantly pitch to the edges to every batter you end up walking a ton. I know it's almost a meme about Gibson being a nibbler, but this gets old and as poster above said "Demoralizing"

    Here's my idea: Leave Gibson in into the 6th. Let him suffer when he's hitting 125 pitches. Don't penalize a weak bullpen coming off11 IP last night. Let them get some rest. I'd rather lose a game than gas out a pen that could take a few days to heal. Or bring in Poppen now. 3 runs isn't going to win this game

    I think he's the team mvp He's not the best player on the team, but he's the most valuable for Baldelli having options filling out the lineup card and helping to keep this lineup dangerous 1-9
