The Minnesota Twins were shutout in Seattle Thursday but it was a strong series from the lineup, especially Edouard Julien. He was 9-for-15 in the four-game series and has been on a tear of late. Down in the minors, Trevor Larnach hit an impressive home run for the Saints, David Festa was very sharp for the Wind Surge, Andrew Cossetti hit a grand slam for the Kernels and we have Mighty Mussels highlights again. Fort Myers players featured include Ricardo Olivar, Rafael Cruz, Gregory Duran and Jose Olivares.

Tonight's System Recap opens with Fort Myers highlights, which feature plenty of Ricardo Olivar and Danny De Andrade. In Cedar Rapids, Kala'i Rosario finished off a Kernels ninth-inning rally with a walk-off single. Also, Tanner Schobel picked up his first Double-A hit with an RBI single for the Wind Surge. It was also a dramatic moment in the game with the score tied 0-0 in the bottom of the ninth inning. It's too bad the Saints ended up being walked off shortly after that. Jorge Polanco started a rehab assignment with the Saints as he tries to get back up to speed after a hamstring injury. Dallas Keuchel had another strong outing for St. Paul. Alerick Soularie showed off his incredibly streamlined swing on a homer for Wichita while Hunter McMahon showed how to pitch smarter not harder. In Cedar Rapids, Tanner Schobel -- Midwest League Player of the Month for June -- stayed hot. He was 3-for-3 with a homer and a pair of walks. One of his singles came on a nine-pitch at-bat. The Minnesota Twins edged out the Orioles 1-0 Saturday behind a masterful pitching performance from Bailey Ober, who was backed up by Griffin Jax and Jhoan Duran for the shutout. Another Joey Gallo homer was the only Twins run. Unfortunately, the Twins lost Royce Lewis to an oblique injury. He's headed back on the Injured List. Minor leaguers highlighted tonight include Dallas Keuchel, Anthony Prato, Yunior Severino, Brooks Lee, Regi Grace, C.J. Culpepper and more. -
The Minnesota Twins apparently had a productive players-only meeting and a good off-day because they looked like a brand new team Friday. They beat the Orioles 8-1, as Joey Gallo, Max Kepler and Byron Buxton all homered while Pablo López delivered six innings of one-run ball. Was it the meeting? Was it Kyle Farmer's mysterious incentives? Will they be able to keep this up? We'll see, but one thing's for sure: Tonight was fun. View full video
