  1. The Minnesota Twins were off Thursday but there was plenty to go over in the minor leagues. Matt Wallner continues to impress with the Saints. He hit two home runs -- both of them off lefties -- in a big night for St. Paul in which Andrew Stevenson also homered. Also included in tonight's highlights are looks at Brooks Lee and Jose Salas in the field, Tanner Schobel's big day, a triple play and Jaylen Nowlin pitching well for the Kernels. View full video

  3. The Minnesota Twins were swept by the Braves, falling 3-0 Wednesday afternoon. Rocco Baldelli was uncharacteristically irked in the postgame interview. Over in the minors, Jose Miranda continued his good streak of hitting for the Saints and Jair Camargo was the hero in St. Paul, driving in six runs including a walk-off grand slam. Brooks Lee and Yunior Severino homered for Wichita in support of David Festa, who will be representing the Twins in the Futures Game. View full video

  5. The Minnesota Twins prevailed over the Tigers Sunday, winning 6-3 in extra innings. Bailey Ober delivered a quality start before the bullpen backed him up with a sterling effort. Donovan Solano hit his third home run of the year and Royce Lewis had three singles. Down in the minors, the recently-signed Dallas Keuchel made his debut for the Saints. He pitched well, giving up one run over four innings. Also included in the highlights are home runs from Ben Ross, Kala'i Rosario and Jorel Ortega of Cedar Rapids. View full video

  7. Pablo López had a quality start with 10 strikeouts but the Minnesota Twins lost to the Tigers Saturday. The lineup was 0-for-4 with runners in scoring position and struck out 13 times. Both Byron Buxton and Jose De Leon exited with injuries. Minor league highlights include Jose Miranda, Matt Wallner, Andrew Stevenson, Brooks Lee (both at the plate and in the field) plus a couple of looks at the ball-strike challenge system they're testing out in the minors. 9. Kenta Maeda earned his first win since 2021 in today's 4-1 Minnesota Twins victory over the Tigers. Maeda delivered five shutout innings and struck out eight batters. Royce Lewis and Max Kepler both homered in what was otherwise a quiet game for the lineup. Three members of the Twins were ejected by home plate umpire Lance Barrett: Rocco Baldelli, Michael A. Taylor and assistant hitting coach Derek Shomon. Minor league highlights tonight feature Anthony Prato, Brooks Lee, Tanner Schobel and Emmanuel Rodriguez. View full video

  11. Joe Ryan pitched the first complete game and first shutout for the Minnesota Twins since 2018. He pitched well, was efficient and got plenty of run support. Byron Buxton became the first batter to hit multiple 460-foot home runs in a game since 2013 as the Twins beat the Red Sox 6-0. Down in the minors, Andrew Bechtold (usually an infielder) made his pitching debut with the Saints and struck out the first batter he faced. He featured a fastball that reached 98 mph and a 90 mph slider. Also, Emmanuel Rodriguez had another big night for the Kernels. View full video

Down in the minors, Matt Wallner and Chris Williams both homered for St. Paul while Tanner Schobel went deep twice to carry the Cedar Rapids' lineup to victory. 15. Royce Lewis was 3-for-4 with his third home run of the season but the Minnesota Twins got blown out by the Red Sox Tuesday night at Target Field. Thankfully, there were plenty of positives to highlight in the minor leagues. Chris Williams and Jair Camargo both homered again for the Saints. Alerick Soularie and DaShawn Keirsey Jr. both impressed for the Wind Surge. Cory Lewis had another clean start while Emmanuel Rodriguez had a lot of fun for the Kernels. 17. The Minnesota Twins lost to the Tigers again Sunday, dropping a home series to Detroit three games to one. Yuck. Jordan Balazovic was a silver lining, as he delivered 3 2/3 scoreless innings of relief in his Major League debut. Minor league highlights include Jose Miranda, Oliver Ortega, DaShawn Keirsey Jr., Yunior Severino, Kyle Jones, Jose Salas, Andrew Cossetti and Yohander Martinez. View full video

  19. The Minnesota Twins went with a bullpen game Saturday and six pitchers combined to shutout the Tigers: José De Léon, Emilio Pagán, Brent Headrick, Brock Stewart, Griffin Jax and Jhoan Duran. And it was a good thing they were all so sharp, as the lineup struggled once again. The Twins scored just two runs, which came on an Alex Kirilloff single and a Ryan Jeffers fielder's choice. Minor league highlights include Gilberto Celestino, Trevor Larnach and DaShawn Keirsey Jr.

  21. The Minnesota Twins were blown out at home by the slumping Tigers but there was plenty else to discuss in the minor leagues. Kenta Maeda made another rehab start for the Saints in a game where Matt Wallner hit an impressive opposite-field homer. Brooks Lee had another multi-hit night for the Wind Surge. Marco Raya and Zebby Matthews combined to provide an outstanding pitching performance for the Kernels. Jorel Ortega had a three-hit night for the Mighty Mussels and Rafael Cruz added a couple of dazzling defensive plays.

  23. The Minnesota Twins lost to the Tigers Thursday but there was plenty to be excited about in the minor leagues. With Fort Myers playing at Bradenton, we have the rare opportunity to look at some of their highlights. Players featured include Andrew Morris, Rubel Cespedes, Gregory Duran, Ricardo Olivar and Rafael Cruz. For the Saints, Chris Williams homered again (of course he did) and Andrew Stevenson had another big game. Brooks Lee had a three-hit night for Wichita ... but also committed two costly errors in the bottom of the ninth inning. And finally, Ernie Yake provided a walk-off hit in the 12th inning for Cedar Rapids in a crazy finish.

  25. The Minnesota Twins earned a two-game sweep over the Brewers by winning 4-2 Wednesday. It was an impressive showing from the pitching staff, as Bailey Ober delivered another six strong innings and Brock Stewart, Jhoan Duran and Griffin Jax combined to be perfect out of the bullpen. In the minors, Chris Williams slugged another couple of home runs for the Saints and Cory Lewis dazzled hitters with his knuckleball for the Kernels. There was also some catching up to do on the action from Sunday and yesterdays' action, as I was in Duluth for the past few nights and wasn't able to get these recaps out. Other players featured include Carlos Correa, Willi Castro, Alerick Soularie, Gilberto Celestino and more. View full video
