  1. The Minnesota Twins beat the White Sox 10-2 in Chicago Thursday. You wouldn’t know it by the final score, but the lineup got off to a slow start. Solo homers from helmet-less Edouard Julien and Royce Lewis helped support an outstanding start from Kenta Maeda until the lineup caught fire late. Down in the minors, Cedar Rapids was facing elimination but responded with an impressive offensive output of their own. Longtime Kernel Jeferson Morales hit a huge three-run home run to highlight a 9-4 victory. The deciding Game 3 is tomorrow night. That and more in tonight’s Twins System Recap. View full video
  2. The Minnesota Twins lost to the Rays Wednesday afternoon at Target Field. With Cleveland in a tailspin, there’s not much to get worked up about in terms of wins and losses, but there were a couple of big-picture items of concern that continued to reveal themselves. Griffin Jax gave up the go-ahead homer in the ninth inning and has a 6.26 ERA in the second half. Also discussed is the decision to pinch hit Christian Vázquez for Edouard Julien. Down in the minors, both Simeon Woods Richardson and Pierson Ohl continued their strong streak of performances on the mound. Also, Yunior Severino homered for the third-straight game.

  4. The Minnesota Twins beat the Rays Tuesday at Target Field thanks in large part to Willi Castro's go-ahead two-run homer. Joe Ryan struck out seven in his first outing against his former organization and Louie Varland supported him with 2 1/3 shutout innings of relief. Down in the minors, Yunior Severino slugged his 33rd home run of the season and Chris Paddack had an impressive start with Wichita. The Kernels started their three-game playoff series in disappointing fashion, losing a one-run game while blowing a golden opportunity in the ninth inning. View full video

  6. Pablo López was electric for the Minnesota Twins Sunday against the Mets, striking out a career-high 14 batters over eight scoreless innings. Unfortunately, his teammates did not have it. The lineup was completely lifeless and the Twins were shutout, losing 2-0. Down in the minors, we take a look at my picks for Mighty Mussels hitter and pitcher of the year before highlighting Luke Keaschall's two-homer night. All that and more in tonight's Twins System Recap. View full video

  8. The Minnesota Twins and Kenta Maeda overcame a shaky top of the first inning to outlast the Mets Saturday at Target Field. The offense once again featured a well-balanced effort from the lineup — and bench. Max Kepler delivered a huge pinch hit bases-clearing triple. Down in the minors, Kala’i Rosario added to his system-leading RBI total and both Bailey Ober (for the Saints) and Jorge Alcala (for the Mussels) pitched. All that plus a couple of phenomenal diving catches by Michael Helman and Alerick Soularie. View full video

  10. The Minnesota Twins beat the Mets 5-2 behind some lucky devil magic typically only reserved for the likes of Cleveland. There was nothing lucky about the home run Carlos Correa hit, though, a 114-mph shot that landed in the upper deck. Along with Twins highlights, there's video of Brooks Lee, Marco Raya and a curious usage update on Emmanuel Rodriguez. All that and more in tonight's Twins System Recap. View full video

  12. The Minnesota Twins were off but there was still plenty to go over on the minor league side of things. Simeon Woods Richardson pitched a great game and Gilberto Celestino hit an inside-the-park homer for the Saints. Willie Joe Garry Jr. stole the go-ahead run in the ninth inning for the Wind Surge. Kala'i Rosario hit his Midwest League leading 21st home run for Cedar Rapids. That and more in tonight's recap.

  14. The Minnesota Twins couldn't get anything going at the plate in a 2-1 loss at Cleveland, tallying just two hits. The Saints had no such problems. St. Paul scored 13 runs thanks in part to a pair of homers from Trevor Larnach. Also featured in tonight's system recap are Michael Helman, Yunior Severino, Austin Martin, Sean Mooney, Emmanuel Rodriguez and Jose Salas plus updates on Walker Jenkins and Chris Paddack. 16. The Minnesota Twins followed up their blowout over Cleveland with a gutsy, late comeback victory to deal a haymaker in the division race. Sonny Gray delivered a quality start to keep the Twins in this one while the big hits came from Christian Vázquez and the ever-reliable Donovan Solano. Down in the minors, the Harmon Killebrew Award winners were announced, so we take a moment to recognize each affiliates honoree (Tony Wolters, Seth Gray, Noah Cardenas and Jackson Hicks). There's also highlights from Michael Helman, Brooks Lee, Jaylen Nowlin, Emmanuel Rodriguez, Kala'i Rosario, a Walker Jenkins update and much more.

  18. The Minnesota Twins clobbered Cleveland 20-6 to open a huge series. Royce Lewis dealt the Guardians a knockout blow in the second inning with a grand slam that capped an incredible two-out rally for the Twins. Ryan Jeffers, Willi Castro, Edouard Julien and Jorge Polanco did an incredible job of keeping the line moving to get to Royce in that situation. Pablo López delivered another quality start, holding Cleveland to one run over six innings.
