The Minnesota Twins were shutout vs. the Tigers today but their Triple-A team had no such troubles. Royce Lewis homered in the first game of his rehab assignment. Also, Trevor Larnach and Yunior Severino hit a couple of the longest Saints homers of the season and Chris Williams blasted a grand slam. In Double-A, Pierson Ohl delivered eight excellent innings for the Wind Surge. -

Down in the minors, Yunior Severino continued his tear Saturday, blasting a pair of homers. That gave him six home runs in a five-game stretch and 24 total on the season. Jenkins gets slightly over what was slotted for the No. 5 overall pick, signing for $7.1442 million. The Twins have had some great comebacks of late but this evening the Mariners turned the tables. Seattle scored seven runs in the final two innings to come away with the win. Jenkins gets slightly over what was slotted for the No. 5 overall pick, signing for $7.1442 million. The Twins have had some great comebacks of late but this evening the Mariners turned the tables. Seattle scored seven runs in the final two innings to come away with the win. The Twins erased a 3-0 deficit in the bottom of the ninth before pulling out a victory over the White Sox in the 12th inning thanks to a Ryan Jeffers walk-off single. The Kernels trailed 6-4 in the bottom of the ninth but won on a Ben Ross walk-off hit. The Mighty Mussels were down 7-1 in the eighth inning but scored 10 unanswered runs to win. The Minnesota Twins were shutout in Seattle Thursday but it was a strong series from the lineup, especially Edouard Julien. He was 9-for-15 in the four-game series and has been on a tear of late.
