  1. The Minnesota Twins acquired four players from the Seattle Mariners for Jorge Polanco: Anthony DeSclafani, Justin Topa and prospects Gabriel Gonzalez and Darren Bowen. Let's take a look at some minor league highlights of these two prospects. Gonzalez is a top-100 prospect per MLB Pipeline and Bowen had a great first season of pro ball after being drafted in the 13th round in 2022.

  3. The Minnesota Twins still have an uncertain outlook for their TV broadcasts. Diamond Sports, Bally Sports North's parent company, has reached an agreement with Amazon to help them out of financial trouble, but the Twins no longer have a contract with them. While it's possible a new agreement is reached, another potential outcome is MLB taking over Twins broadcasts. This is something they had to do with the Padres and Diamondbacks last season. What might that look like?

  5. Diamond Sports, Bally Sports North's parent company, announced that Amazon will be investing to help the entity avoid bankruptcy. This seems like good news. At the very least it's some progress, but what does it mean for the Twins? That's still unclear and seemingly complicated at the moment. View full video

  7. Minnesota Twins prospect Emmanuel Rodriguez has as much fun on a baseball diamond as anybody I've seen. He's also about as patient a hitter as you can find and has shown a knack for hitting home runs in big situations. Here are some highlights of his 2023 season and a comparison between him and current Twins hitter Edouard Julien.

  9. Minnesota Twins prospect Simeon Woods Richardson's stock has fallen after a year in which he posted a 4.91 ERA in Triple-A. Taking a look at some of the pitch arsenal data that's available tells a more optimistic story. Stuff+ loves him. Let's talk about his prospect stock, his pitches and take a look at some full at-bat highlights from 2023.

  11. The Minnesota Twins claimed Ryan Jensen, a right-handed reliever, off waivers. Here's a look back at a Triple-A outing of his from June that features both the good (stuff) and bad (command) when it comes to Jensen, a former first-round pick of the Cubs.

  13. Happy New Year! It's time for resolutions, and I have one for the Minnesota Twins minor league system. I'd like to see more innings from the starting pitching prospects. This is a potential area of improvement both across the org, and in regard to several of their top pitching prospects.

  15. The Minnesota Twins are reportedly in agreement with free agent reliever Josh Staumont on a contract guaranteeing just under $1 million. It's a low-risk, high-upside move, but I find it concerning that the Royals non-tendered him at such a modest projected salary and then were very active spending on the free agent market.

  17. After the Minnesota Twins finally broke their embarrassing playoff losing streak, you'd figure the fanbase would be flying high. Instead, early offseason reports of the team planning on decreasing payroll have killed the vibe. I shared my thoughts both on the payroll situation and on fan morale/excitement heading into 2024.

  19. The Minnesota Twins have been quiet. Let's have some fun. Here are some wacky trade ideas I put together for your enjoyment, including a really out there three-team deal in which the Twins acquire both Jesús Luzardo from the Marlins and Bryce Miller from the Mariners.

  21. I joined the guys at Destination: The Show for a lengthy discussion primarily about Twins prospects. Among the many topics discussed was Brooks Lee's likelihood of being traded and the future at second base. Jorge Polanco figures to be the most likely player from the position pool to be dealt this offseason, but teams will definitely be asking about Lee and Edouard Julien, as well.

  23. The Minnesota Twins haven't done anything this offseason and I'm guessing it might be another month before we see any activity from Derek Falvey and the front office. We're just going to have to be patient.

  25. The Minnesota Twins were inactive in the Major League phase of today's Rule 5 Draft, but added four new players to the system in the minor league phase. They selected left-handed starting pitcher Rafael Marcano, catcher Rafael Escalante, utility guy Angel Del Rosario and right-handed reliever Sheldon Reed. Here is some info and highlights on the new additions. View full video
