The Minnesota Twins have traded Nick Gordon to the Miami Marlins for left-handed reliever Steven Okert. Both players are out of options for 2024, so this appears to be a case of teams swapping pieces that simply fit into the rosters better in their new homes. For the Twins, Okert slides in alongside Caleb Thielbar as another established MLB lefty in the pen.
