    85 wins, falling just a game or two behind Cleveland for the division. That at least makes for a fun and entertaining season to the end. Not the ultimate goal, but a good starting point.

    I personally don't think any of that matters. I think he's tied to the FO and he's doing what the FO wants him to do. So, his seat isn't hot at all unless the FO's is. And if the FO fires him, they'll just replace him with someone similar.

    The starts should get longer on average based solely on the fact that the staff is better in general. And at this point, healthier. I think that's about all that needs to be said.

    Welcome to TD! I'm sort of in the same boat as a cord cutter. I'm stubborn enough to not cave to pay anything more than I already am to get games. As far as I'm concerned, I'm still paying for Bally's on Hulu since my subscription price never went down. I listen on the radio or follow along on the At Bat app or gamecast depending on where I am. So unfortunately, I can't really help you with your question. But I can tell you that you are hardly the only one in that situation.

    For me, it's actually watching more golf on TV, and sometimes actually getting away and on the course, that gets me going for spring and baseball.

    Barring significant struggles, I don't see him being released before the break either. It will be interesting though if there are one or two young guys pushing him off the roster.

    With the price tag on Gallo, I wonder how they'll approach him if he's not hitting. Especially if Larnach and/or Wallner are crushing.

    Exactly. I assume that Polanco's injury plays into that to an extent, but I still don't get it. It'll be interesting to see what happens when Kirilloff comes back. I'd rather see Larnach or Wallner in LF than Gallo unless Gallo is hitting. Short of that, which I don't see happening anyway, I'm not sure what value Gallo has aside from a 4th outfielder.

    I think he was signed more for his defense than his offense. If he regains his power stroke, that's just a bonus.

    So, does that make the perceived part how fast you think you did things in the past, or how fast you're doing things now based on how quickly you used to do said things? 😁

    Perhaps most importantly, his velocity has been pretty consistent from what I've seen. To me, that's a good sign that we're seeing the velocity game to game and pitch to pitch.
