  1. He had a cool batting stance and swing. Also, cool hair.
  2. Why no love for the Wolves?
  3. The Twins are all we have for (men's) pro champions in this town. Yeah it was 25 years ago.. umm.. GO LYNX!
  4. It would have been more fun and interesting to list the top three worst Twins pitchers. That would be a barn burner.
  5. "What's this I hear about you having problems with your TPS reports?"
  6. In defense of our Twins, couldn't you make a similar montage for every other team? Here's to spring training 2017.
  7. We have other priorities to fret over. Anyway, unless Mauer retires it will be more of the same. Interesting stats, a deeper dive would be nice though. What are these stats for when they were only at 1st and what are combined 1B stats for Twins guys (BA, OBP, OPS)?
  8. They were brutal and the worst team in Twins history.
  9. I am a Park guy and hold out some hope for his future and potential. However, at least the Nishi signing filled a need. Park's signing was unnecessary and ineffective and complicated the depth chart.
  10. Nishi looks like a good signing compared to Park so far.
  11. How many more years will we peddle the "It's just around the corner" Kool aid? Agreed that the young core of hitters is promising, it's just that the pitching is so bad it's hard to stay optimistic. This is a critical time in franchise history to avoid a losing culture that might linger for a decade plus. The next few years are critical.
  12. The 7th inning at tonight's (Friday's) game. Robbie Grossman's two errors on one play, which my wife and I got to witness in person and she didn't believe me was possible.
  13. The two examples you give of MVP winners on bad teams are 91 ad 95 loss teams. Our Twins this year are crashing toward 105 losses, almost assuredly 100 losses. Has an MVP ever been on a 100+ loss team? Dozier has been great, just not THAT great to overcome such a bad team record.
  14. This organization will not progress bringing guys like Gardy back into the fold. A new regime cannot get here soon enough.
  15. Yes. I too saw Me. Pohlad near the end of his life. Nice man, said hi back to me yet he looked so frail. Millions don't matter in the long run, enjoy life while you can
  16. The schedule has been released, get your tickets for 2017!
  17. Here's hoping Dozier gets to 50 - would be fun to watch.
  18. A for effort. They didn't oversell it and had a good mix of optimism and reality.
  19. Yes, Molly has all those qualities in addition to being a baseball genius. Oddly enough he has been over-matched and outmaneuvered many times in regards to in game moves. Hopefully Molly steps down voluntarily at some point in the off season.
  20. Let the kids celebrate. It's a sign of the times and the culture today's player has grown up with. It isn't necessarily good or bad. It doesn't matter anyway, memories and news cycles are so short in today's world nobody remembers anyway. As long as you don't disrespect the opponent, who cares? And, these types of celebrations are seen as standard and mandatory in today's game.
  21. Time is on our side, yes it is..
  22. There's no guarantee we will take that potential #1 pick and do anything productive with it.
  23. Whenever you are losing to Atlanta in anything it's not a good day!
