  1. Ah yeah that’s right. The Angels did that with a couple of former recently acquired White Sox players Giolito and Lopez.
  2. Interesting that the Giants are doing what the White Sox did last year getting rid of multiple veterans before Sept 1st. We need waiver wire trade deadline back.
  3. The 33-year-old is owed roughly $2.15 million this season and $12 million for 2025. Would I do it this year? Absolutely. $12 million next year is the problem.
  4. The 2022 draft was a disaster. There’s no question about it. But that was a very short lived era with Ed Donatell as DC who had a completely different scheme than Flores. Kwesi isn’t a scout and didn’t come from a scouting background. In 2022 he was stuck with Spielman’s leftover scouts and there have been changes since then.
  5. Alright, you’ve done the research. How does this compare to other GMs in the league? Because I can point out a couple other teams that have done worse since 2020. Why are you ignoring the UDFAs in your evaluation? The Vikings hit on Ivan Pace Jr in 2023 and that can’t be ignored. This year looks pretty good as well with 3 undrafted rookies making the 53 (McGlothern, Murphy, Taimani)
  6. I understand this is just a rant from tonight but this sentence alone is silly. Of course those two moves the needle. We were a 100 win pace team when they were both healthy and contributing.
  7. Not gonna win many games scoring 1 run. Rough stretch of baseball and we desperately need our big horses back playing at their normal production.
  8. Bo Richter is back on the PS. He had a lot of positive press about him in camp. Glad he’s back.
  9. RB I’m interested in: Frank Gore Jr, D’Onta Freeman, and Semajai Perine (sp?) I’m good with either a rookie shooting for upside, or a veteran guy who is good at pass protection
  10. Agreed, The ball hit his glove. He had minimal awareness where he was on the field and misplayed it.
  11. You are correct. He will be thinking about that first pitch going to bed tonight.
  12. Yeah, that’s how it should have ended but we had a chance. Wallner is the best chance we had to walk it off given the current roster.
  13. Honestly, no one else I’d rather have up here to hit a 3 run bomb.
  14. Relievers are the king of SSS and even the best of the best have off seasons. Clase last year was credited with 9 losses and a career high 3.22 ERA. Duran entering this game had a 3.16 ERA
  15. This is tough. Duran doesn’t have it tonight.
  16. Julien just ain’t it at 2B. Brooks Lee can’t come back soon enough.
  17. He absolutely said that into a microphone earlier this year
  18. It turns out Royce Lewis does do slumps. That was a dumb thing to say this early in his career.
  19. What color is the sky in this world you’re talking about?
  20. I would have never guessed he would be a guy throwing 98 with a devastating sweeper back in 2018
  21. Every time I see Jax pitch I think how unrecognizable he is compared to his old self in 2018.
  22. He could have challenged for the most wild pitches in a single season. Good luck to him.
  23. In the coming days I would expect to pick up a RB and cut Asamoah. Then sign another guard and cut Evans.
