  1. That’s not even Falvey’s greatest hits of bad trades. 9 total innings of Tyler Mahle has to be #1.
  2. I legitimately lost track of Celestino so that is funny he’s there out of all places
  3. The Astros were able to get 6 good seasons out of Pressly AND move on before we get 1 good year out of Alcala. That reminds me, where is Celestino these days?
  4. Another rough night for the Alcalaholics
  5. Nobody else I’d rather have up in this situation than Christian Vazquez
  6. 5 and fly for Ryan. He did his job, now we see if Topa can handle the 6th
  7. Whelp. Get ready for at least 4 relievers tonight. 90 pitches and Ryan’s not even through 5 innings.
  8. That wire cam view was pretty telling…
  9. Have no fear… the WNBA draft is tonight
  10. Worst case, Jesse Winker has plenty of hair to chop off to make Alonso a wig
  11. Vazquez almost took that foul ball in the twig and berries
  12. What kind of hairstyle is that, Alonso? Yikes
  13. It’s a mindset and the guys it does effect is soft. You hear the excuse early in the season all the time. Funny how it never comes up during playoff time.
  14. It’s cold in October and November too. So I guess we’re screwed if we make a run in the playoffs.
  15. It’s such a lame excuse and frequently used as a blanket response to why player X is struggling.
  16. The short answer to your question is no one, to be honest. Buxton had all the makings of an instant superstar but then his bat became a wet noodle when he was called up. Royce Lewis started his career on fire with the bat, but the injuries are piling up for him… I see it, and you see it too over the years. Other organizations call up a 19-22 year old player and the player becomes an instant superstar. I’ve been extremely jealous and wonder when the Twins will luck out with their own Jackson Merrill, Jackson Chourio, or James Wood?
  17. The Joe Mauer statue also looks really cool. Love that he’s a catcher throwing someone out at 2B
  18. We’ve been hoping for an instant superstar since Joe Mauer in 2004. When will it be our time again? Our next hopeful is Walker Jenkins. Maybe, just maybe, he’s what we’ve all been hoping for.
  19. Today was the best Sunday at the Masters in years. I was glued to the broadcast on my flight back home this afternoon
  20. Always good to start the week with a win. Wasn’t able to watch today but I am happy to read about a solid SWR start… Also, Harrison Bader is a pretty easy guy to root for. He brings some hustle and swagger to a team that severely lacks both.
  21. Is it smart to continue giving Prielipp starts even if they’re 4 innings or less? Who knows how many bullets are in that arm, so shouldn’t he get prepped to be a bullpen arm?
