They probably will do that for a 6th round pick… But all we’re doing is rearranging chairs on the Titanic. This whole situation is so classic Vikings.

The giant hole in the swing was always there... In his 2024 break out he struck out 36% of the time. When he could make contact, he hit the ball very hard. But these sorts of assessments shows how often the Twins FO have been off on their internal calculations. That list continues to grow and I'm afraid we're going to waste yet another year because Zoll isn't a qualified GM.

That is almost certainly Wallner's fate. He should go overseas to rebuild his value then perhaps make a return back to MLB. He's got a giant hole in his swing (high velocity in the upper strike zone) that's going to be tough to fix at the MLB level.

The Jaguars are legit though. Trevor Lawrence has solidified himself as a top 10, borderline top 5 QB in the league.

The earliest I’d be slightly interested in Danny Dimes again is 2028. If he follows the Aaron Rodgers/Kirko recovery path. Both of them tore their Achilles in 2023. Looked awful in 2024, still hobbled in 2025, and now both are back to slinging the ball again in 2026.

Or they could have taken “one of us” Emmett Johnson who looks awesome with his limited touches in KC. But we took a FB instead in the 5th round…
