    This organization continues to struggle developing talent. Royce 1st overall, Larnach 20th overall, Wallner 39th, Brooks 8th, Martin 5th. All shown to be role players, not star players. If we can’t identify and develop talent, we’re never going to build a core. That’s why I’m hoping Zoll is gone after this year. He’s been here long enough to be a problem, not a solution.

    Watching the Guardians v White Sox game. Guardians up 6-3 end of 8. White Sox at risk of losing the AL Central lead they’ve held since July 4th.

    Platooning a 21 year old is a dumb idea.

    Wentz looked pretty decent for a guy who had minimal reps all offseason. Much like Nick Mullens, he has 2 or 3 blue screen of death decisions a game. That INT in the end zone which was reversed because of defensive holding was a brain dead pass. Speaking of Mullens, where is he? I read he was released during roster cut downs, but probably ended up on a practice squad somewhere

    Not much left to say about this season. I think we all realize more changes are needed. Will Tom P make the first aggressive move by firing Zoll?

    I pretty much had the same experience with my 2 favorite football teams Texas Longhorns and Minnesota Vikings. Disastrous first half followed up with an impressive 4th quarter comeback. The B-Flo defense really clamped down in the 2nd half. Jordan Love is the most overrated QB in the NFL in my opinion.

    Okay cool. The OF for the remaining games needs to be some combination of Jenkins, E-Rod, and Keaschall. Larnach should not be taking any more PAs away from them. He can have Bell’s DH PAs if anything.

    Anything and everything should be on the table after missing the playoffs in 5 out of the last 6 seasons.

    This roster needs a lot of help in order to be competitive as soon as next year.

    Keeping the status quo continues to make 1/3rd of the league’s franchises irrelevant. Unless you have a world class development program like Milwaukee, sustained success is not possible for the bottom revenue teams. Edit: I want to see big changes in this next CBA. Making slight tweaks to the current format won’t be enough. If it takes 18 months for major changes to happen, that’s the cost of doing business. Hopefully they can figure it out before a full season is lost.

    Catching the ball is pretty important at 1B, and catching the ball is a consistent challenge for Keaschall. Do we think he'll be able to scoop throws made to him after watching him botch more than his fair share of ground balls at 2B? I have my doubts.

    If losing baseball in 2027 means a future where the Dodgers can't buy all of the top FAs every year, I will take that trade off.
