  1. Idk… Some would say the bats have management potential!
  2. As per tradition, the Minnesota State Fair dropped their new foods list for the fair this year... https://www.mnstatefair.org/new/food I'm gonna need to try that Hmong corn dog...
  3. In regards to the Manningcast, it's a case study for when a novelty item stretches themselves too far. Their ratings have been declining consistently since their debut in 2021. They were the pioneers of the surge in alternative broadcasts, but over time, people will still gravitate towards the traditional broadcast no matter the sport.
  4. I think it's good that they're experimenting at this time. Overall, I think this alternate broadcast is good as a novelty item during the season. My concern is they're chasing a demographic that is going to be a tough nut to crack (Gen Z and younger). I ask my younger co-workers did you watch the NBA finals game last night? And their response is they watched (insert their favorite YouTuber here) 's live stream and saw them react to the game. I personally have zero interest in the Twitch live stream world, but that's where the younger eyes are. They would rather watch someone else attend a game and participate in the live chat instead of actually attending the game themselves.
  5. This sounds good in theory... But are they really going to gain more fans when the game of baseball itself is secondary to the podcast-like commentary? My other question is are these 4 guys the correct choice to get younger demos? I mean, they were on early 2000's Twins teams when teenagers today were toddler age.
  6. The reason this works for most people is because it's a novelty item for the season. If the all analyst broadcast was 20% of the total broadcasts per season, it will get old very fast. Keep it special at 1 series a year.
  7. I like that idea. They could have an alternative broadcast like this on Twitch, and get some younger eyes introduced to Twins baseball. It still blows my mind that on Twitch, kids would rather watch their favorite streamer sitting on a couch reacting to a game over watching the game themselves.
  8. After further review you’re right. Just for the segment with Audra. If you think that’s where Tom and Dustin Morse were sitting the whole night, I’ve got oceanfront property to sell you in Kansas.
  9. He was sitting in the “pontoon” seats in RF which are guarded like the plague.
  10. Oh boy. Travis Adams for an inning or 3 depending if he can keep it in the ballpark tonight.
  11. He’s saving the $100 bills for the cart girls at Interlachen Country Club
  12. Tom Pohlad handed Plouffe $40. The generosity is off the charts
  13. You like 1/3rd of the screen taken up by the broadcast crew sitting in their chairs? This isn’t a podcast… It’s a professional baseball broadcast.
  14. Were you not in front of the TV for the bottom of the 3rd inning?
