    Yep. I’ve had the same hip injury he does. The cartilage isn’t gonna tear any more than it is. If he can power thru the pain before the offseason kudos to Buxton.

    The White Sox went from historically bad 2 years ago to leading the division now. They must have filled their roster with mediocre veterans like Josh Bell and Tristan Gray right?

    That’s pretty close to the realignment I do in Out of the Park baseball when I expand to 32 teams. If there’s push back having both Chicago teams and New York teams in the same division, I would swap the White Sox with Cincinnati, and the Mets/Phillies with Washington and Baltimore. That way the long standing rivalries remain in tact with NYM/PHI, NYY/BOS, STL/CHI

    Out of curiosity I looked at the standings the previous 3 seasons and the 8 seed for both leagues are either 81 or 82 wins. I would hate to water down the playoffs any more than they already have. The NBA is the worst offender for watered down playoffs and it’s made the regular season worthless to pay attention to.

    That doesn’t really solve the issue of long time mediocre divisions like the AL Central. Just to play along who do you think gets moved out of the division?

    If the Twins wanted to truly take advantage of a vulnerable AL, they would have made those modest trades they made AND call up Jenkins + E-Rod ASAP. It’s not a huge stretch of imagination to think Jenkins would have held his own in MLB all throughout August.

    There will be a bump in attendance for the last remaining home games. Gleeman and Bonnes discussed that in a recent podcast that even last year when the team was dead in the water since July 31, attendance was around 25-30k for the final regular season home games

    It should be 1 team in the southeast, and somewhere in mountain or pacific time zone to balance the league. Nashville or Charlotte/Raleigh for the SE team. Salt Lake City or Vancouver is my guess for the west city. Then a good shake up with realignment. I would rather see 4 divisions of 8 teams vs 8 divisions of 4 teams. And please get the Twins and Brewers in the same division!

    Idk I would think they wait to debut a brand new team along with their brand new stadium.

    Yeah I realize he's not the same. It's the irrational fan in me hoping he didn't just walk away quietly without an official announcement. He's been one of my favorite Vikings players since we drafted him. Ideally, Jay Ward is ready to move into a starting "traditional safety" role along with Theo Jackson... That way Metellus can go back to his hybrid role where he performs much better IMO.

    My biggest concerns heading into week 1 is Center and the DL. Genuinely shocked we did not pursue a better option at center than Brandel. On the DL, I don't think Banks or Big Citrus will be plug and play immediately type of players. That puts a lot of pressure on Redmond being the star of that position group. LDR and Ingram-Dawkins both have to step up in their new roles. Edit: Safety doesn't look great either, but I still believe Harry the Hitman will be back soon.

    Yeah I would say so. Get the new CBA squared away, announce the 2 new teams then another 3-4 years until their new ballparks are built. I'm not sure MLB would want their brand new expansion teams playing in AAA stadiums if theoretically the new teams are in Nashville, Charlotte, or Salt Lake City.

    Only 9 home games left… I am feeling the urgency to attend at least 1 more game at TF before a long offseason awaits us.

    Forbes said in their new ownership article that Kroenke also plans to build a new $2.5 billion stadium. I believe the Rams stadium in LA was privately funded by Kroenke... I'm insanely jealous of Angels fans. They get a new lease on life!

    I hope every dog enjoyed a sweet treat at Target Field and didn’t end up like Jonah who got snubbed in this video. I miss my boy and will see him when I get back to town on Wednesday afternoon

    Welcome to corporate America in 2026. So many jobs have been outsourced to people in that region because they’ll take $15 an hour for dev time vs. $50 an hour in the states.

    MSP to LA is a little over 3 hours so anywhere from 15-17 hours in the air. Not including time between connecting flights. That’s a heavy haul to make it out to your neck of the woods.

    Longest flight I’ve taken is MSP to Heathrow London 8 hour flight that was pretty brutal for a person like me who cannot sleep for more than 30 min on a plane
