Why doesn’t every low spending team have voodoo magic to develop and fix players no matter how they acquire them like Milwaukee, Cleveland, and Tampa? Are they dumb?

Ratings will decline sharply for the WS. This will also be the year the 85 win Guardians win it all which will incentivize every low spending owner to shoot for 82-85 wins every year nothing more.

Their fall off has been surprising and dramatic. They’re pretty much replaying their playoff game last year on a weekly basis. A terrible OL and a QB who decided nothing else matters besides keeping his hot GF happy. Who can blame him?

I hope so. The Vikings really screwed up by testing out a Hill 10 graphic outside of the stadium. They tried covering their tracks by saying it was an “employee” celebrating their 10 year anniversary named “Bryen Hill”. They even created a fake LinkedIn pictureless profile.

2026 Roster Management: F. We entered the 2026 season with a bullpen that was going to be a disaster from day 1, and an IF defense that was going to hinder the pitching staff. Keeping Alex Jackson around and not using him for months after the trade deadline was insanity. Minor League Development: D. I strongly disagree with the pitching strategy in the minor leagues. We're developing the vast majority of pitchers for a role that does not exist in MLB. The only positive things I've read in this thread so far is the willingness to give him another year. If the leash is 1 more year, then we might as well pull the plug now. Because GMs on the hot seat can cause damage to the organization while they try to save their job. Do we think Zoll can lead the Twins out of this mediocre purgatory we've been in for the last 5 years? I do not.

He’s literally the only Twins prospect to pitch any reasonable amount of innings with an ERA under 4. The pitching pipeline is bleak to say the least.

Gonna be honest today is the first time I’ve looked at Chase DeLauter on baseball reference and holy cow. A casual 3.5 bWAR and 131 OPS+ in 495 PA

This whole Tampa franchise would be so much more appreciated in over half of the MLB markets. It’s so fraudulent to see their stadium now full for the ALCS.
