  2. It's almost like the previous regime's assessment of making Larnach a primary DH vs. RH pitchers was the right call.
  3. Relying on this bullpen to keep it clean for 5 innings is always a challenge
  4. No one likes talking about it… But this is the time where 2nd half Joe shows up. No where close to the excitement 1st half Joe provides.
  5. 1 or more teams in the AL West is gonna figure it out and go on a run. Could be Houston once again
  6. This lineup is begging for Kaelen Culpepper to make his MLB debut soon.
  7. The bullpen is the fatal flaw. Has been since July 31, 2025. No team in the Twins’ position can obliterate a bullpen and rebuild it in a single season.
  8. I doubt this season will be any different than the previous 5 seasons in the AL. 86 wins is the minimum to be the last wild card team. That’s been consistent every year since the playoffs were expanded. Baseball fans really do have goldfish memories. We were saying this exact same thing last year, and the year before that, and the year before that.
  9. This same question was asked on May 14th from Brock. 60% voted yes. We still have not been over .500 since April 21.
  10. 70% humidity here. Wouldn’t surprise me if a severe thunderstorm popped up in the next day or 3 when it’s this muggy outside.
  11. Agreed. Wasn’t worth the trip when I lived in Austin. Looks like they got the roof open to start and they’re dealing with the same heat we’re dealing with in MN. 90 feels like 101 according to my weather app.
  12. Today was gross outside in Minnesota. Hot and more humid than a sauna
  13. Who is the color analyst guy with Provus tonight? Just turned on the TV.
  14. In Old Friend news… Chris Paddack signs on with the Texas Rangers. A sheriff returns to his home state. 5th team in less than a year.
  15. I’m not opposed to moving him to the needs more data category. He’s not one I’m ready to give up on like I am with Wallner and Martin.
  16. I do think we are getting answers to the question of Who Makes up the Core of the Twins? This season it is crucial to determine where we stand with several position players in their mid 20s... It hasn't gone our way with several of them, but I think at this point... In the core: Lewis (1B and 3B with a sprinkling of 2B), Lee (3B, but ideally a utility player), Clemens (utility) Out of the core: Wallner, Martin Need more data: Kreidler, Keaschall
  17. I had the game on as background noise while cleaning the house/laundry/cooking... Morneau and Provus mentioned a few times that Kreidler is finally healthy after 2+ years. Hopefully it's that simple!
