  1. MLB really did screw the Twins this year scheduling 20 home games from April 1 - May 3rd. What did they expect?
  2. Puts on my Midwest cap… Its not the temp, its the wind
  3. Injuries are piling up for the Wolves at the wrong time
  4. The casual fan was lost last season when we shipped off 10 players over 36 hours. The NHL and NBA playoffs are right around the corner. Hopefully both the Wild and Timberwolves have deep playoff runs to distract from this lousy Twins team.
  5. Things I consider doing this week if I'm Jeremy Zoll... DFA Outman - Call up Orlando Arcia. Lee and Keaschall are both struggling right now. Call up Roden - Send Clemens to AAA Things I consider doing this weekend if I'm Jeremy Zoll... Call up Culpepper - Send either Lee or Keaschall to AAA whoever is struggling more Call up E-Rod - DFA Larnach
  6. If you want the 13th position player to be an infielder over an outfielder I guess? We could swap out Outman with Orlando Arcia, but we'll come up with the same conclusion. Arcia will play maybe once every 10 games.
  7. Is that a good use of development time for either one of Martin or Roden? Why wouldn't you want them playing almost every day?
  8. Yes. Because Outman will continue riding the pine when E-Rod is called up to replace one of the concrete shoe wearing OF.
  9. All you need to do is look at how the 13th position player is being utilized on other teams. I'll spoil it for you, that player is hardly used ever on good teams like the Mets, Yankees, Dodgers, Brewers, etc. If the starting 9 was good enough, Outman or (insert veteran player here that no Twins fans like) wouldn't be a blip on the radar for fans.
  10. Same here Nick. My back of the napkin math came up with Saturday April 11th as the date where we can call up prospects and they will not reach 1 full year service time. If I'm Shelton I'm playing Brooks Lee every day this week, and if he's still swinging a pool noodle at the plate, call up Culpepper and send Lee to St Paul.
  11. Meet the new Moritz Bohringer of the NFL.
  12. Bottom 3 in the MLB standings is entirely possible. That's what I predicted before Opening Day... We're gonna need the crop of offensive prospects like Culpepper to flash at SS, Jenkins/E-Rod in the OF, Gonzalez at DH/fill-in, etc,
  13. This is starting to feel like the same conversation we were having about Joey Gallo. Except this time the ultimate wild card is there. Wallner is a Minnesota native...
  14. Zak Kent sent to St Paul. Recent acquisition Garrett Acton called up
  15. His career has gone down in the tank quicker than Miguel Sano.
  16. He's got 1 option remaining and he will use it this year for sure.
  17. Wallner is seeing his MLB career come to a close pretty soon.
  18. It really is incredible James Outman had a 3.4 bWAR season playing full time once upon a time.
