    Whether Jackson gets claimed or not, who cares? Have I traveled back in time to the Ron Gardenhire era? He's had 13 PAs in the last month. I want the most talented players up right now to contribute in any game as a "contending" team. If we're worried about losing a 3rd catcher, then there must be a lot of people skeptical about Tom P's quotes to invest in the team. I am quite sure we can acquire another catcher for next year.

    Penix kinda fits the type of QB KOC wants. Pocket passer with a live arm. And you say statue but the guy ran a 4.5 40 at the combine he was sneaky fast. Not so sure these days after yet another knee injury.

    Fun game to see in person. They strung together a lot of hits. When Zebby gave up the 3 run bomb to make it 4-1 bad guys, I thought oh boy here we go again. It was great to see them rally back in the bottom half of the inning and take the lead! Also, Royce Lewis… hottest hitter in baseball

    Jeffers or Caratini’s playing time gets bumped up and they can call up long time org filler Banuelos to play 2 out of 10 games.

    You’re also assuming Jackson is going to get claimed by another team. He’s 31, out of options, and a sub .200 hitter when he’s given more opportunity.
