    Until we have 10 MLB caliber SP like the Dodgers, we should always be on the lookout for starting pitching. Also, agreed on Festa and Zebby. It's time to move Zebby and his career 5.63 ERA to the pen, and I wouldn't bank on Festa pitching at all next year. If he does that's icing on the cake.

    I've been ignoring the day to day camp "QB competition" stuff from the beat reporters... I think it was a foregone conclusion from the day Kyler Murray signed he was going to be the week 1 starter. Thinking about how this team will do, I will be equally as surprised if we win 4 games or 13 games. The only thing I'm confident about is Flores churning out another top 10 defense. Beyond that, I have no idea what to expect from the offense. Murray was always a square peg in a round hole for a traditional KOC offense.

    I like Drake Maye a lot, but you nailed it. The offense he's in is not going to do him any favors. His stats last year were because New England played the easiest schedule in years. He'll get a little boost playing 4 games against the lowly Jets and Dolphins, but beyond that, a 1st place schedule is going to be tough for him to repeat. Yeah, I am at a loss why there's so much love for Caleb Williams. 58% completion percentage is a giant red flag. I think the shelf life of Ben Johnson is going to be really short as a HC. They also benefited from a last place schedule last year. I don't think they're going to do nearly as well this year with a 1st place schedule. From your lips to the football gods' ears. No Micah Parsons for at least the 4-6 games of the season, if not longer. Their WR room is by far the least talented in the division. And frankly I don't think Matt LaFleur is a good HC.

    I've got a couple of NFL hot takes on my mind now that preseason is here... I've been seeing a lot of QB rankings lists with both Caleb Williams and Drake Maye as dang near consensus top 10 QBs. I think both are extremely overrated heading into the season. New England will get an inflated win total because 2 teams in their division are actively trying to go 0-17. Joe Burrow will be healthy the whole season and win the MVP. The Green Bay Packers will finish last in the NFC North.

    This team really needs a boost on offense. The vast majority of fans want to see Walker Jenkins come up, and maybe that will happen sooner than later. If service time is still a consideration, what is the latest with Emma Rodriguez or Gabby Gonzalez?

    Shouldn't a satire author play the hits? Tom from Brooklyn Park, MN doesn't care one bit about adding less than $10 million to a, let's be real, less than $100 million payroll of players on the team. This year's $105 million payroll was inflated by Pablo Lopez's $21 million salary that was wasted on the first couple days of spring training.
