    Hopefully. But they just stay on the IL until further notice… Emma Rodriguez was placed on the 7 day IL on May 6th for example.

    It took a unified approach, and a lawsuit from their own conference, but Texas Tech is finally letting Sorsby go. He will enter the NFL supplemental draft. Good luck kid. At the very least, college athletics united against allowing players that bet on their own teams.

    Buxton would have to demand a trade out of here… And if that happened, that will be the lowest point in this organization’s history. Reminiscent of Kevin Garnett, who put his heart and soul into the Wolves. The following 10 years after trading him to the Celtics were dark, dark times for the Wolves. Beyond him demanding a trade, I am thrilled to keep him as long as he’s able to play baseball at a high level.

    Leadoff just means he gets the most PA in a game, and I'm a-okay with that given this cast of characters in the lineup.

    He is still the guy I want to have at bat with runners in scoring position. But yeah, that's what I'm arguing about. He hasn't been good with RISP this season. Hence why his RBI is crazy low.

    Isn't Byron Buxton way better than average? All-Star caliber? How does he compare to other All-Star players?

    Every plate appearance batting leadoff eh? I seem to see him struggling batting runs in when he's up with runners on base. In the spirit of hunting for the good I'm glad Buck is one of very few that can hit a ball into the seats.

    As little as 10 years ago 23 HRs and less than 46 RBI would have been scoffed at. Modern day MLB is very weird.
