Replay assist doesn’t appear to be summoned by a human challenging a call. Just shows up when it’s convenient

This replay assist is pretty mysterious so far. Why does it kick in on plays when the Vikings barely get a fingertip on a blocked punt to avoid a roughing the passer? That play and the illegal downfield player by mere inches to take the Dolphins passing TD off the board.

The Yankees were screwed without Judge. The AL was so mediocre all year that’s what we deserve. Manfred threw all of his eggs in the NL playoff basket.

Ref ball is becoming too much in the NFL. They want to be the main characters. Example A is the ref of the Vikings Dolphins game for blowing up on Eric Wilson for running into him and trying to help him up.

Aren’t there 7-8 teams that would need to become cap compliant? Haven’t we learned our lesson with the Kyle Farmers of the world? The only lesson I’ve learned from DJL44 is avoiding relievers in that tier of price. When they stink you’re stuck with them. Especially with this ownership family.

I think we could be on the lookout for a Kirko, Geno, or Mac Jones trade. It will be a travesty wasting this defense who has carried the team over the last year. This team is miraculously on a 9 game winning streak with horse bleep offense the whole time.

I couldn’t disagree with you more Mike. Why would you want to give a 1st time reliever $7 million? The kings of SSS? You really want to lock in someone who might top out at 91 MPH instead of a pre-arb pitcher who can throw 98?

Skor North post game show asks this question. Does this feel like 2016 that finished 8-8 and missed the playoffs? Or 2024 that was shooting for a 1 seed in the NFC? Both teams started 4-0.
