    Perkins IMO is a great radio guy. He’s better there than TV. It’s Attebury and the rabbit holes he goes down that makes our radio team not enjoyable.

    Dolly’s legacy will live on for many years. She created an awesome program in Nashville where any child up to 5 years old can receive a free book to read every month.

    If/when that’s built I would make a road trip to see that ballpark. I don’t mind their existing stadium either but I understand it’s old and dated at this point

    That’s being kind. The NHL rigged the expansion draft to make sure they’d be a cup contender in year 1. When the Wild and Blue Jackets were expansion teams we got literal scraps from active rosters.

    Is Vegas a real draw for opposing fans? I’m not so sure. The stadium is right on the strip by and it’s very expensive staying on the strip now. Aria is $400+ a night. MGM Grand is close to that amount. I am staying at the Wynn in September and it made me sick to my stomach booking that for around $700 a night.

    All of my expense reports have been approved so far! I will be there in mid September again…

    Idk Chief… It does help that the city stole 2 teams from Oakland to keep that tradition going. But it’s way more difficult filling the stadium for 81 games vs. 8 or 9 Raiders games.

    I unfortunately have to travel to Vegas 2x a year for work. It’s very clear the city is catering to the high rollers and nobody else. I was the expense account for the other 2 co workers that came with, and a standard 2 egg breakfast was $30 on the strip.

    Wonder what the capacity is for a mid 2020s new ballpark? They probably shouldn’t go much higher than 30k. I just don’t think they will have the demand to fill it most days in the summer. Vegas is already pricing out the vast majority of people for vacation.
