KOC just indicated Murray has a “hamstring injury”. So here’s the soft benching of him.

Don’t need a game changer at QB. Just someone who can competently throw the ball downfield. The Lions ran 18 more plays and held the ball 10 min longer than us today. The defense just got gassed at the end.

KOC on the radio after the game is still talking about getting Murray comfortable in the offense. He’s an 8 year NFL veteran and we’re 5 games in.

The Lions defense might have 6 starters left on their team and that’s not an exaggeration. They had a backup LB playing slot CB. There is absolutely no excuse for Murray not lighting it up the rest of the game.

I don’t think a play call asks for the QB to hold onto the ball forever. Murray has been playing scared all season. Notice how the only passes he throws over the middle of the field is to the TE
