    I would have respected this article more if the title was “I am desperate for clicks and replies. Please, for the love of God, CLICK HERE.” If the author actually wanted to present an argument, instead of rile up the readers, they wouldn’t have posted this after losing 6 out of 8 games, including 3 in painful fashion. Clickbait garbage. Par for the course with this author.

    Let’s just pretend we are 2-6 or whatever at the trade deadline… Aaron Jones, Stephon Gilmore, Shaq Griffin easy flips to contenders if they have interest around the league. I would consider trading these guys if it doesn’t look like an extension is happening - Bynum, Byron Murphy Jr, Phillips I doubt this would be a mid season type of trade, but O’Niell could fetch a big return. I’d say this is very unlikely to happen.

    I bet the lines are a lot shorter at the fair today compared to when I went on Saturday. I took my dog for a walk over the lunch hour and started sweating after 5 minutes.

    Agreed. There are too many careers on the line, players and staff, to legitimately tank. I will say, if the Vikings get off to a really bad start like I expect, we should learn our lesson from last year and trade expiring contract players.

    Now that September is right around the corner, it’s time to move Varland to his forever home in the bullpen. Diego Castillo was halfway decent earlier this year for the Twins. He can’t be any worse than Richards. Is Zack Weiss still alive and well? Desperate times…

    Up until the final minutes of the trade deadline, we were the only team to not complete a trade during that week. This was a trade just to make a trade.

    It took an unprecedented (for this season) Alcala meltdown and an error in extra innings for the Rangers to win 1 home game out of 4. Everything is going to be alright.

    The Gilmore signing at the very least raises the floor of production for the CB group. I believe CB, just like OL, is all about the weakest link. We now have 3 average ish CBs so no one in particular is going to get picked on constantly.

    My ideal scenario was having Darnold be the sacrificial lamb the first 6-7 games, then McCarthy starting the 2nd half when the schedule eases up. Now we have no hope to turn to when Darnold stinks. Mullens is worse.

    Whelp. This sucks. My interest level in this team took a hit. I really didn’t want to watch a full season of Darnold and Mullens.

    4-6 months for the full repair I believe. So maybe he’s back late in the regular season but I would guess we are going to be very conservative with his rehab either way. If it’s the minor 4-6 week surgery he could still play after the bye week.

    Let’s hope it’s the minor surgery that only takes 4-6 weeks to recover vs. the full repair which will take him out for the season. We won’t know until he goes under the knife.

    It's crazy that you're cool with watching 92 loss teams for a decade. Yet complaining on a near daily basis about a pretty decent 2024 Twins team that is not on a 92 loss pace.
