  1. Winning solves a lot of things. The Twins need to win early and often when the regular season begins.
  2. I guess but why keep him when it’s proven time and time again he can’t stay healthy?
  3. Buxton’s injuries have been all over his body for flukey and non-flukey reasons. Lewis’s injuries have all been focused on his legs. Which doesn’t bode well down the road.
  4. That’s a laundry list of leg injuries for a 25 year old man.
  5. What are you talking about Morneau? These challenges aren’t disruptive… They’re getting squared away in 5 seconds or less.
  6. It’s going to be really annoying when we head to the regular season and pretend this ABS challenge system doesn’t exist
  7. FWIW - Royce strained his right hamstring last year. Now it’s the left hamstring. See you in a couple months, Royce.
  8. I’ve ordered 2 tons of bronze and already started chiseling Ty France to place outside of Target Field. Should France be leaping with joy? Or throwing his bat in the air?
  9. Exclusivity breeds opportunity as they say… And someone with entrepreneurial spirit sold that Texas hat for $1k today on eBay.
  10. https://www.mlbshop.com/los-angeles-angels/mens-los-angeles-angels-new-era-red-overlap-59fifty-fitted-hat/t-14226591+p-242223322404796+z-9-98571236 For the low, low price of $44.99
  11. My personal favorite is the Mmmi Marlins
  12. Its their “overlapping” look… It reminds me when I was a teenager figuring out how to use Microsoft PowerPoint and forgetting to hide the other logo behind it. Truly awful
  13. You’ll see my math on Monday when Darnold signs a massive contract.
  14. I’ll throw a dart on Matt Guerrier in case if that isn’t Crainwreck in the picture
  15. Hey boss. Just following up on the Ty France bronze statue construction. You said the payment was coming today and the credit card on file is still declining. Can you confirm?
  16. Sam Darnold is better than Geno Smith today and the next 3+ years. I would bet a lot of money on that
  17. Main arguments were a team wouldn’t trade real draft capital back for a QB like Darnold and extend him for $40+ million a year (Geno Smith is going to do just that) Other argument is what if we have to hold onto Darnold’s cap hit on day 1 of free agency and beyond? This trade was made before day 1 of free agency.
  18. *broadly gestures at Geno Smith *points back to Kwesi Dude got played like a fiddle
  19. I want day trading analytics Kwesi to make something happen. I’ve moved on from Darnold. The only thing I want the beat reporters to dig in on is did Kwesi make a valid effort finding a tag and trade partner? If he did, then I’m happy. Sucks it didn’t happen, but at least he tried. If he didn’t make every effort to pull it off, then my pitchfork is directly aimed at him.
  20. Some teams do it better than others extracting value out of their players. KC traded 33 year old Joe Thuney with 1 year $15 million cap hit to the Bears for a 2026 4th round pick.
  21. Almost certainly. At least his time with the Twins. We can’t keep him on the 40 beyond this year without any production.
  22. Kwesi has let 3 of the biggest assets in the organization leave without much of a fight. Kirko, Hunter, now Darnold. That’s not exactly screaming analytics to me.
  23. Hard to imagine an opportunity like that again for the Vikings. I’d rather have a guaranteed return, even if it was a 4th or 5th round pick, over hoping the comp pick calculator works in our favor.
  24. I’ve accepted it before the decision was made. Super lame and now I’m watching for the numbers when Darnold lands elsewhere.
  25. Idk if Ishbia was the right guy. None of us do. But I’m very confident the brothers would have been better than the Pohlads over their 30+ year run. We know the Pohlads will never add to a team. Even when the stars all align like 2019, and pick any year from 2003-2009. We know the Pohlads don’t care about winning a WS if it means going over a self-policed salary cap.
