  1. Gordon picked everybody up....
  2. Uh-oh, there's that bilateral word again....
  3. Granted Archer lost time due to injury and we don't know the lingering effects, but I looked up Bob Feller's BR page and saw that he missed the 1942-1944 seasons to fight in WWII and was released from active duty August 24, 1945. So, after missing 3 full seasons and most of a 4th, Feller made 9 starts in August and September, going 5-3 with a 2.50 ERA over 72 innings (8 IP per start). Not saying Archer is Feller (he is not even close) but I think that he can throw more than 60-65 pitches in a game when compared to a guy who missed 3.75 seasons and threw very little if at all over that time period.
  4. LSU is paying him $380K compared to his Twins salary of $350K, per MLBTR https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2022/06/twins-pitching-coach-wes-johnson-hired-as-lsu-pitching-coach.html
  5. Walks by a relief pitcher are never good....
  6. Not with "only" 13 pitchers.....
  7. He'll never get stretched out if he doesn't get stretched out......
  8. Buxton looked good running the bases. Good hustle, no hesitation and no play at third.
  9. Runner on third with nobody out aaaannnd 3 K's....
  10. Urshela has played 22 post-season games at 3B, and while the overall results are mixed, he has only made 1 error over his last 50 chances, covering 17+ games.
  11. https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2022/06/twins-place-trevor-larnach-on-il-with-core-muscle-strain.html
  12. There have been some big-name players DFA'd this year, some by small market teams (Cain), so it is a possibility. If he is out of shape (he is supposed to be rehabbing), then it should be a no-brainer.
  13. How much of Correa's OAA change can be attributed to not having Bregman, Altuve and Gurriel as fellow infielders?? Are the Twins having him play "in the shift" more or less than Houston did? How about the difference in pitching staff's. Too many variables for me to be a big defensive analytics fan.
  14. Gameday shows Hernandez behind plate, Baseball Savant illustrator graphics agree......
  15. Exactly, don't need a HR to win in extra innings with Manfred's stupid rule.
  16. Bert's favorite, a two out sac fly.....
  17. Twins best hope may be a WP or PB.....
  18. I think Urshela should have been bunting, the Twins need this game.
  19. Twins were leading 5-3 when Pagan gave up his HR, offense and starting pitcher did their jobs. I understand Ryan was losing 3-2 when he was lifted, but he pitched good enough to give the team a chance to win.
  20. Couldn't type fast enough to beat the DP..... Good job Duran.
  21. Who's warming up, I think Gonzalez's AB might just knock Duran out of the game
  22. Gordon = Larnach Miranda < Kirilloff Let's hope defense doesn't lose this.....
  23. If Gordon doesn't run its 1st and 2nd with 1 out, maybe 1st and 3rd.
  24. Was gonna complain about Kirilloff being pinch hit for, but Garlick reaches....
