  1. Bremer is in Cooperstown. Not sure of the replacements name. Perkins is the flavor of the week.
  2. So, counting days, if he would have gotten this treatment on Monday instead of Wednesday, he would be ready to play today. Hope the Twins sweep so nobody can look back and say these were the games that kept the team from reaching the playoffs.
  3. Can't win the WS if you don't......
  4. Not according to Baseball Savant...
  5. Also expanded a little on Arraez, maybe caused Arraez to chase strike 3....
  6. Relievers are 1 hanging curveball, flat slider, or fastball that catches too much of the plate away from being banished to Siberia by trade. Starters can overcome a bad inning fairly quickly, it can take a reliever 2 weeks to overcome that same bad inning.
  7. I can't find anything on Larnach, except that he tried to play through the pain and that the initial diagnosis was based on what he told them. The final diagnosis was after the team sent him to a specialist. Maybe someone can share more.
  8. As our old friend Meatloaf stated; 2 out 3 ain't bad (games played).
  9. Well that'll about do it for tonight....
  10. 5 LOB thru 3 and 1 thrown own at home....just another day in Twinky Town.
  11. Probably a pop fly, a strikeout and..... they just won't get him in. Pretty sad situational hitting from this team.
  12. There are 67 players in MLB with 40+ RBI; 67 players / 30 teams = 2.23 per team. 2 is roughly league average, plus RBI is a meaningless stat (just ask the so-called experts).
  13. Showing the young bucks how it's done... https://www.mlb.com/video/cabrera-steals-third-scores?t=major-league-vibes
  14. Thanks, didn't realize Kepler got hurt. Trying to watch on GameDay @ work and I actually had to go do some work....
  15. I now see that Garlick hit for Gordon in the 6th, decision to throw game away was made an inning earlier than I thought.
  16. So why did they have Celestino and Garlick replace Kepler and Gordon to face a righty? And how does Celestino and Garlick give us better OF defense over Kepler and Gordon? I guess the decision was made in the 7th that this was the throw-away game...
  17. 5 complete, it is an official game. Twins need to rally if this starts again, since Minneapolis is getting the whole 20%.....
  18. Hindsight being 20/20 and all, it was kind of obvious that Winder didn't have "it" after the second rain delay. Gotta have a better feel for your team RB....
  19. Pretty much see it nightly across MLB....
  20. Gio Urshella = Bringer of Rain....
