  1. There are no ties in baseball. Or crying.
  2. He might have. I still hate the play, and if he did, Polanco should know better. In fact, he should be told not to bunt in that situation before coming to the plate.
  3. Not to mention you're depending on Rosario against a LHer and then Buxton with 2 out.
  4. Haha. Evil, no. Terrible at managing a pitching staff. Part of the reason the Twins have had bad pitching over his tenure is not his fault. Part of it is. He is reactive, instead of proactive. Count how many times this year he's removed a pitcher after the damage has been done. How many RH hitters a LHer like Boshers has faced. He won't be the manager next year.
  5. Man, Moustakis runs worse than Mauer.
  6. The difference between Molitor and a major league manager: If the situations were reversed, Molitor sends Gaviglio out for the 6th, and doesn't have the lead after top 6.
  7. Eddie Rosario, last 7 days, coming into tonight: .111/.190/.167
  8. http://animals.sandiegozoo.org/sites/default/files/inline-images/Somali_wild_ass_mare_0.jpg return of the assbats.
  9. Has Sam Gaviglio really K'd four Twins through 2??
  10. Upton for the Angels: 1.029 OPS. Small sample size, I know, but that might have come in handy the past week.
  11. It's plausible the timing of Souhan's original column is due to when he got the info from a "Twins official," no? If said Twins official is/was concerned about weight affecting rehab, then the timing makes sense.
  12. He hasn't done much at the plate to earn more playing time either.
  13. The story put forth by Dickbert last night was that Molitor didn't want to put Castro in back-to-back games, and he wanted him to catch Colon today.
  14. Berrios' line looks bad because his manager left him in at least one hitter too long. He was loosing command and should not have pitched to Dickerson with two on, none out. Game changer right there.
  15. TB won't be batting in the 9th.
  16. I wonder how many teams don't shift on Longoria.
  17. There really is no reason Glen Perkins should be pitching for this team.
  18. Not sure how you let Berrios pitch to Dickerson, 2 on, none out, Berrios clearly struggling. Managerial malpractice. You didn't see TB let Cobb pitch to Rosario.
