It's rather ironic, the lengths they're going to keep Buxton in the lineup...and they're succeeding. Much to everyone's chagrin. Put the man in CF already ferpetesakes.

Yeah, and it's kinda stupid. MLB players can't be expected to make plays requiring more than ordinary effort? Also, on a play like that, once the stop is made--which I agree wouldn't be an error if not made--the throw is pretty damn ordinary. Just because Lopez is late doesn't give him an excuse for a bad throw. E3, IMO.
