  1. Lots of acronyms. FYI, it reminds me of meetings with DOD when I worked in D.C.
  2. How about if the front office let the fans (a vote-in contest) for the first round pick? 4. There are still some questions about whether the Angels and Cardinals will be included.
  5. That doesn't stop most people from responding.
  6. Please define the difference between "command" and "control". They sound like the same thing to me.
  7. Are you surprised by this? Do the Twins have any major-league quality relief pitchers on the 26-man roster?
  8. Only 17 games remaining. 9. You listed ten teams as clearly more relevant than the Twins. Seven of the teams are East Coast or West Coast teams. I think this is a major part of the irrelevance. The Twins are in the middle of the country and in the northern half. What media is going to give a damn about anything that happens in Minnesota (with the exception of a school shooting or a George Floyd incident). Not enough viewers i.e. advertising revenues. There's an old saying that money talks while the middle of the country isn't worth finishing this saying.
  10. HE DOESN'T HIT HOMERUNS!!! HE DOESN'T HIT HOMERUNS!!! Sounds like Chicken Little to me. He's only 20 and closing in on the MLB. Give it time.
  11. I think this off-season he will be working on becoming a choreographer so he can join his cousin on Broadway.

  13. A long winning streak is the worst scenario. They need to keep losing to up their odds in the draft lottery. They are closing in on the White Sox and it would be a shame to waste all that non-effort by the front office. 14. This is a great response if the topic was about the front office. This article is about top prospects for 2027.
  15. Maybe the cost of DFA'ing a minor league player is 50 cents less than for a major leaguer? The Pohlad's need every penny they can get if they aren't selling the team.
  16. Is it too late to catch Chicago? Chicago's magic number is 13. 18. Two items. 1. An eight-run inning with three hits and a four walks. No that's a minor league rally! 2. The Twins need to sign the Louisville right fielder. He looks like he would fit in with the rest of the Twins' right fielders.
  19. Or it could be that with the Social Media of today, players never have a second to themselves. I have no idea what the sixties and seventies players were doing in their off-time. Easier to look up to someone who has more than half his life a secret.
  20. I did not see the game, but wa there any view of the third base coach while this was going on? If he's signaling to tag up, it isn't Martin's fault. If he's telling Martin to stay put, then it's Martin's fault.
  21. As depressed as many of you are, here is an uplifting reminder of good things that might be coming. 22. I read the headline and thought it was an article from the "Just for Laughs" folder.
  23. With the roster expansion today, I truly believe the Twins front office is making very strong effort to move past the Pirates and improve their odds for a #1 pick.
