    Really good point Ashbury. And to Roco's credit, the players seem to be able to put the team goals ahead of personal goals. That gets tricky sometimes, but this years Twins, led by veterans, Correa, Buck, Urshela, Gray and Archer, seem to have a "team first" attitude, which I thoroughly enjoy. Now, Rocco, about bunting and advancing those runners with less than 2 outs and hitting against the shift, may I humbly suggest there are some strategic changes which could produce more runs at critical times.

    I sincerely hope that the same FO employees who had input in choosing the 2021 draft prospects are still in charge of the Twins 2022 draft. What an incredible draft 2021 was. Miller, Encarnacion-Strand, Festa and Pop, etc.. And Petty is a super star in the making. I understand the trade for Gray, but I wish it had not cost us Petty. After reading his article I have 100 % confidence in the Twins FO to make some really good choices in the draft today. I can't wait.

    Neto was 5-0 pitching in college with a 3.25 ERA. Must have a great arm. Struck ot 27 in 27 innings. Walked 18.

    I agree that we are OK with the 2 catchers we have healthy today, but we will have a big catcher problem if/when either Jeffers or Sanchez gets hurt. Also we have a catcher problem because there is not 1 catcher in the Twins top 30 prospects. So I ask who will replace Sanchez and Jeffers in the event of injuries and/or free agency?

    I'm OK with Jeffers and Sanchez today...but what do the Twins do: 1) when one of them gets hurt; 2) next year; and 3) 2,3,4 etc. years from now with not one catcher in the Twins top 30 prospects.

    Thanks for these informative and timely articles Jamie. Well done. If the Twins wanted Parada badly, but felt he would be drafted before #8, how can the Twins persuade a team to draft Parada early and then trade him to the Twins? With his hitting skills, do you anticipate Parada will remain a catcher into his 30's?

    Either the Twins get somebody in a trade for Sano, or they don't. I do wish Sano well on another team, when he is not playing against the Twins. The Twins are better off without him striking out so much of the time. I hope Sano gets traded to, or picked up by, an American League Central Division rival.

    The Twins must select a catcher. There are no catchers in the top 30 prospects for the Twins. Chris Williams, a catcher from Clemson, is getting older and has been playing 1B, I have a suggestion: Move Matt Wallner to catcher. He is 6'5" 220 lbs and has a cannon for an arm. He hit mid 90's relieving in college. He is a super left-handed power hitter. He is a relatively slow runner (lumbering) and a corner OF, which the Twins have plenty of. He is rated as a "fringe-average left fielder". The Twins currently have Buck, Celestino, Larnach, Kepler, possibly Kirilloff, possibly Martin, and Gordan slated for OF play. How difficult would this conversion be? If I were Wallner, I would want to do this.

    Good luck to all TD owners with your new venture in Milwaukee. It is my hope that the Brewers fans will enjoy Brewer Fanatic as much as we TD fans enjoy Twins Daily. One word of caution and paraphrasing that great philosopher, Jerry lee Lewis: don't let what made Milwaukee famous, make a fool out of you. Have fun guys.

    The old Alka-Seltzer advertisements had a logo and a jingle which said: "Relief is just a swallow away." Falvey needs to "swallow" his pride/inactivity/stubbornness/ "whatever" ... and get some quality relief pitching immediately. The majority of the relief pitchers who the Twins currently have, are not getting the job done and it is demoralizing and costing victories, which are just as important in July as they will be in September. It is foolish to repeat ineffective actions. One definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.
