    It literally has zero to do with the Twins for me. I can't say that again and again....because you just aren't interested in what I'm actually saying. I specifically mentioned unconscious bias....for example, which has nothing to do with conspiracy theories.

    I think I've stated quite clearly I want fair umps. Did you even read what I said? I'm ok if you don't care if they are fair, but asking what studies exist, then dismissing the idea of them seems, well, not really interested.

    Did you even try to google about umpiring, because we know some things: They call terrible pitches strikes when there are 3 balls. They favor veterans. They favor home teams. All of this is known stuff. We absolutely need robo umps to eliminate unconscious bias (so many studies on this are available with a modicum of effort) in all kinds of things in society, sports is just one of them

    Wanting fair umpiring has nothing to do with which side bad umpiring favors..... Give me fair umpiring all day. We have plenty of studies that show how unfair and bad it is, most of which is fixable with robo umps. As for comments in game threads, who cares if they are one sided, literally nothing to do with what MLB should do.

    Meh. They've gone further than I thought they would. I'm very disappointed in teh RISP hitting, but they were a bit unlucky today (not that the pitching made that matter). Some of the comments on the game thread, those made me angry given their inappropriateness. I'll just stay out of those if they aren't winning biggly. Ugh.

    Not for one moment is this the issue, IMO. What was different the last game? Sometimes things just don't work out. Sometimes the other pitcher is on.

    "momentum" means nothing going into the playoffs according to studies. TX was a better team pythag wise, and Baltimore has sketchy pitching......AZ is more of a surprise to me, but wow, the LAD pitchers just aren't doing it.

    It seems like he's plugging his ears to hear the play with like 16 seconds left on the play clock way too often. Especially late in the game. I don't see other QBs waiting for calls. Just run a play.

    I don't love with either coach or GM is doing, but it is way too early to bail on them. Frankly, the O isn't an issue and the D has no talent, so I don't know how you blame the coach. With average luck they have 2 more wins this year....KOC needs to be A LOT better at getting plays in, and Kirk has to be better at just going ahead if he isn't....and the challenges need better managing and clock management overall sucks, but that's fixable. The GM completely blowing their first draft is a killer, but whatever. It was one draft. Addison and Pace make this last one quite good (still hate the Oliver signing).
