  1. Fairly confident Wallner gets over 50 xbhs if they play him more than 77 games....same with Lewis.
  2. certainly no one that watched the whole thing won
  3. no idea why you'd want Wallner to change anything, unless you want him worth 5 fWAR somehow......a SO is better than a weak grounder with men on base and less than two outs....by far.
  4. Let them know there....so few do on articles not about certain teams....
  5. What does "earn his way mean?" What would he have to do to unseat Lewis, CC, or Julien? Because OPSing over .900 in AAA isn't it, clearly....heck, Julien only made the roster because Polanco was hurt twice.....
  6. what 25 year old FA is there? None, that's who. And, pitcher wins? Really? Yikes.
  7. I literally said "might or might not be." So, I have no idea how you reached that conclusion. My main point was that doing it one for a long time doesn't make it right (or wrong)....
  8. I just wish Bonnes would participate more on the site he owns, well written.
  9. Players were taught a lot of things that were wrong. This might or might not be
  10. Sure, was just giving my opinion on what I want, which should be your main goal.....
  11. Agreed. The percent of HS pitchers that are even decent is tiny. Truly infinitesimal. Great trade.
  12. All the reports indicate they were basically demoting her, and that they wouldn't let her fire some old skewl guys.... So no real surprise she moved on. Not extending her after she fixed the team is insulting, let alone the rest
  13. There's no evidence experience is the issue. It's a tiny sample, and fans need an explanation for some reason.
  14. Wallner didn't even play one third of the games in LF, and put up 1.5fwar as a left fielder. Multiply that by three and he's the second best LF in the game. Assuming he's not at good still puts him in the top ten . I doubt it's the FO that isn't understanding his value. Top decision is replacing Gray and what to do in CF. Everything else is gravy.
  15. I'm a lot more interested in this for prospects. I was just thing about this. I also would like some kind of ranking page, with links to individual stuff. Somehow summarize national rankings, staff rankings, and votes by us. But really, links to info about them all would be great.
  16. I don't think "everyone knows" that Kepler is on the trade block. He wasn't last year, and he was better this year. I have no idea about the others, but I'm betting they keep Polanco also.
  17. probably, and that is a nitpick, sure, but I'd rather have him than Buxton, which was the conversation.
  18. They have permission to talk... Thad Levine joined the Twins as General Manager, second in command to President of Baseball Operations Derek Falvey, in 2016. During his tenure in Minnesota, Levine has helped the Twins win three division championships in seven seasons, alongside one Wild Card appearance in 2017. Levine was born (Virginia) and raised (went to Haverford College in Pennsylvania) so a move to Boston would bring him closer to his roots. It has long been speculated that Levine wants a shot at the big chair for a MLB team and after the departure of Chaim Bloom, the Red Sox may come calling. View full rumor

  20. and pinch hit.
  21. Well then, there goes Levine (maybe). They have permission to talk.
  22. I'm certain of this (as an opinion), but that could just be my thoughts given their deference to Gallo for so long, and sending down Wallner and Julien during the year.....
