  1. Yup, I know the timing. Don't have to like it....He's ready. Do it now. They might need him in MN THIS YEAR.
  2. I mean move Emma up already... I'd even be good if he skipped AAA. I'd consider Ohl to AAA at this point also. The best news was the health of Lee and Jenkins.
  3. I would drop both Priellip and Canterino from my list, given they show no signs of ever playing. I would likely drop Severino, and I was a believer last year.....hoping he turns it around.
  4. Trevor Larnach 12:14 Am I real? K rate down 12% and currently 8th in MLB in average exit velo.. Dan Szymborski 12:14 The power probably. K should be improved, but not this much as still below average contact
  5. I wouldn't be opposed, but I kind of like some of the minor league guys right now.
  6. I mean, I'd put him at first when Lewis returns and dfa Santana..... But it isn't up to me. I think there is plenty of space for him here. Next year I'm hoping he and Julien play first with Lee at second.... But that's hope, not reality either.
  7. Soto is too high for me, but I get why others are excited. I like the pick, take a risk.... But my expectations are low, even if my hopes are high. Also, of likely only move him a few spots, so it's a rounding error. Keaschell is too low....
  8. One start in 6 or 7 where he's given up more than 2 runs, and people are worried? High bar.
  9. I wouldn't remove SWR here, but whatever....it would be after this inning anyway.....
  10. I still think Jenkins could be in AA this year, but it will be tighter now.... Mercedes won't be
  11. Not bad......would be great if two of those hadn't missed the year so far.
  12. Mostly staying away these days, but I have to echo those not happy Margot is in the lineup, let alone leading off. WTAF? Farmer, Margot, Vazquez? Just admit you aren't even trying to win at this point......and trade anyone making money so the owners get what they want, more money.
  13. Mid- year seems wasteful. Promote them now. Emma should be in the Twins' lineup the second half this year at some point. Ohl isn't being challenged right now.....but they'll likely wait longer than I want.
  14. Fangraphs has a top 100 prospect update....from "others we almost put in the top 100." Luke Keaschall, 2B/CF, Minnesota Twins As we approach work on the Twins list from top to bottom, we checked on Keaschall, who has done nothing but rake since entering pro ball, albeit in a relatively small sample. He’s shown feel for the zone, bat control, and modest power. Keaschall has never been a very good infield defender and the Twins have been experimenting with him in center field. He is very much still learning to play out there. Rubel Cespedes, 3B, Minnesota Twins Cespedes is a potential plus third base defender with a 70 arm, capable of hosing guys from deep in the corner. His swing is similar to Cam Collier’s and draft prospect Bryce Rainer’s — there’s big bat speed and low-ball lift but real vulnerability at the top of the strike zone. https://blogs.fangraphs.com/a-top-100-prospects-update/
  15. I thought this had to be an Onion article, but nope, somehow it's real. Wow.
  16. You can only make the trade you can make. They weren't getting a good major league player for polanco.
  17. Everyone is playing badly, they are winning, and the manager isn't doing his job? Something doesn't add up....
  18. I wonder how patient the owners will be.....
